Saw them in a small acoustic venue in the Willamette Valley this summer. OMG. Stunningly gifted musicians, creative storytellers and funny. We immediately bought all three of their CDs. Their original compositions are favorite ear worms in my life.

Well, Gordon's still making great music. As I recall, his wife was a licensed mate on my Friendship Sloop years ago. When I got sick, she took over as skipper and asked him to go along as mate, and that is how it all began. Funny how some of us seem to have gotten older, but those two have not.

I never get tired of this music, and it always moves me. And I'm so impressed by the songwriting - Mostly Sober is as fresh, sharp, tored and vulnerable after 100 listens as the first time I heard it.

I've been a fan of Pete's for a long time now. I read somewhere that Stefan Lessard played bass on Hope in Our Hearts - so I checked it out and really loved Pete's melodies and authenticity. Oddly, I used it as my workout album for years. His rhythms are easy to bike to. He seems like a humbly good guy. Hope to catch him live one day. Keep it up Pete!

What a great find! I haven’t heard Gordon Bok for fifty years now and he still does a fine show.

Saw him live at the Seagull when we were visiting Maine. He is absolutely wonderful! I'm sad I don't live closer so I could listen to him more often! Beautiful lyrics, beautiful playing and clearly a beautiful person! He does covers of other peoples songs that are so heartfelt that it brings tears to my eyes.

I got Paul's CD "Nights in the Gardens of Maine" many years ago and I still treasure it. These are brilliant pieces, reminiscent of Robert Schumann but carrying their own weight and creative importance. Thank you for sharing the video.
