Nintendo switch joy con drifting repair
Thanks for this video and I did clean my xbox now & it work now
Mine was thrown by my wife and any load such as loading any game using any app for 3 minutes or less will cause fan to go full send and Xbox shuts off
Divorce her
I found the perfect solution. I bought the Mcbazel Cooling Stand with LED Lighting for Xbox Series X Console, Xbox Series X Cooling Fan,Colour Changing Cooling LED Stand for Xbox Series X with Indicator, and I also bought the G-STORY Cooling Fan for Xbox Series X with Automatic Fan Speed Adjustable by Temperature, LED Display, High Performance Cooling,3 Speed 1500/1750/2000RPM (140MM) with RGB LED One is on the base, the other that has the temperature guage is on the top Both from amazon (be careful when buying the G-Story, some are going at twice the price with other retailers, so Amazon is definitely your best bet. I run both fans at full speed (the noise is minimal, especially if you are wearing headphones you don't hear a thing) but trust me, they are both surprisingly quiet anyway. I played the Remastered Dead Space for a solid 3 hours and the temperature guage never got above 31C or 87.8F. I felt the console all over and could not feel any disernable warmth coming from anywhere!! Well worth buying if you are serious about prolonging the life of your console
Good job 👍😊
This helps and thank you for the video but for me the biggest difference i could actually tell was when I bought two fans for mine. One for each end (top and bottom). And then i noticed it was running much cooler.
No heatsync?
Thank you for this video! My Series X fan has sounded like a jet engine for months and after following these directions it’s back to normal and not crashing due to overheating.
what can I use instead of a screwdriver to get rid of the screws

Hi mate.just sub to u.. old man at repairs..I am.
The question is, why did the fan fail in the first place?
never neglect the balls :D
Nice one mate
Top job, I always do the thermal pads as part of the process.
Nice one.. Enjoyed the vid!
Where's the crypto? I subscribed for crypto!
Well job
Keep up good work
Mine does that. I finally decided to risk it and take it completely apart yesterday so I could get to the heat sink. Ton of dirt and dust which I think were making it hard for the system to breathe so it was just randomly shutting down. You'd think it would give an over heating warning, but it never did. System was definitely hot though when I picked it up. Hasn't crashed since I cleaned it so hopefully that has solved the issue
Missing screws. the banksy signature of console repairs
I really enjoyed watching this mate... Great video! ❤
American Consoles aren’t reliable. I prefer PlayStation over Xbox.
Re-balled in 6m 52s impressive, thats with talking and filming! Excellent job. The holes filled and your area comment was funny! 😂. Just a note... Those stencils are direct heat and can hadle it.. The common misconception is........ When heating up the solder paste don't use 400c+ or any where close to it.. Solder paste usually has a significantly lower melting point, so the hot air only needs to be around the 360 mark or lower. At those temps the stecil does not warp enough to overpower the magnet. Thing is re-balling is a tedious and dawnting task. You use a method that get you the results you want.
You're using those stencils wrong Trev 😂 good job though bud
It was a different way video..cheers though dude ...
@consolerepairsbirmingham3149 lol all good pal, you did a good job. Those stencils won't bend though, just heat them slowly and there solid 💪
Hello grandfather
