There are no Compulsion in DEEN (Qur'an 2:256 & 10:99 & 18:29, etc) - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW ABOUT QUR"AN, most of the commandments in the Qur'an are directed to the Believers , except in cases like Murder Some of these guys are turning against their own traditions thinking they fight Allah, God never said you have to wear a certain type of clothes in the Qur'an ...Turks, Kurds, Persians, Arabs, Indians, etc All historically had their own types of clothing, music, Art, food, etc - these are elements of culture and not DEEN - I should stress that GOD does tell believing women to cover certain parts of their bodies [Jeyoob, etc which needs to be studied], and You know to not bahave in an inappropriate way for attacting men, and to NOT decorate themselves in public/TABARRUJ - But some of you guys think your traditions are equal to Islam which is a Fallacy - Islam is the Qur'an, And Qur'an never said to wear a black cover all over yourself, etc - I mean you can do it if you like it - But do not say it is Islam and commandments from Allah , Do not mix your culture with Islam ... And lastly Islam has nothing to do with Arabs, Was Jesus an Arab ? Was Moses an Arab ? Was Abraham Arab ? I have no issues with arabs to be honest I have an arab friend very close to me, But just do not confuse matters without knowledge And Allah is againt *taking off garments/THIYAB as a form of Tabajjur/decoration* in 24:60 Lastly Allah is against all FAWAHESH (any sexual relationships outside marriage, etc) As he commands in 24:33 that those who can not find marriage/NIKAH should practice restrain/EFAF , There are no such things as Slaves, Concubineage, etc in the Qur'an unfortunately some Sunni/Shiite Mullas/Shaikhs/Imams have deviated meaning of certain words in the Qur'an to justify these sorts of FAWAHESH and give it an Islamic theme - BUT those who Study the Scipture know that it is a Fallacy, Any relationship outside marriage/NIKAH is STRICTLY forbidden in the Qur'an and Marriage is allowed with believing women Sunnis and Shiites Do not know Anything from Islam and Qur'an, and they follow mostly traditions from Ancient Persia, Polytheist Arabia, etc Which they falsely attribute them to Prophet Muhammad and call it Hadith and Sunnah - There is no such thing as Sunnah/Rivayat/etc in the Authentic Islam Unfortnately because of this internet some women have gone crazy, if you go anywhere in the world 30-40 years ago women would have covered themselves until this internet sexualized women And Peace on those who follow Guidence 20:47

It's true that both Iran and Saudi Arabia adhere to strict dress codes. But they say, Iran is still very much lenient in its dress code for women compared to Saudi Arabia so long as dresses aren't too revealing.
