Hello and Welcome to Acrylic Art By Beaux and Ann! We are a mother and daughter team who create art with acrylic paint using different techniques. Some of the techniques you will find on our channel are flip cups, blooms, hairdryer blowouts, chain pulls, open cup pours, swipes, ribbon pours, ring pours and a few others.
Ann discovered Pour Painting while searching UA-cam for ideas for her daughter’s homeschool Art assignments. After watching hours upon hours of artists (including self taught artists) creating beautiful paintings, she was not only going to include this art form into her daughter’s homeschool assignments but she was inspired to start Pour Painting herself. She finds it very relaxing and also very therapeutic.
Beaux mainly creates using paint brushes or sponges (including make up wedges). She does Pour Painting every now and then but she likes to use paint brushes and sponges more.

#33 - Gold, White and Black Puddle Pour on 8x8
Today I am doing multiple puddle pours using Liquitex and DecoArt paints on an 8"x8" canvas by Artist's Loft. I will be using my skewer to wreck the puddles by dragging the colors through each of the puddles. My base color is recycled paint from scraping my table (no paint gets wasted). The colors I am using today are 24K Gold by DecoArt, Titanium White and Mars Black by Liquitex.
My pouring medium today is Flood Floetrol and Artist's Loft Gloss Pouring Medium. My ratio is 2:1 (2 parts pouring medium to 1 part paint).

Today I started out doing a Chaos Ribbon Pour using Liquitex and DecoArt paints on an 8"x8" canvas by Artist's Loft, but I did not like how it was turning out so instead of scrapping the video I decided to pour over it. The pour over is a Puddle Pour wrecked with my skewer and a marble roll. All of the paint you see on my table will get scraped into a container and reused (no paint gets wasted)...

I did a vase like that with master touch pearlized green pearlized turquoise and apple barrel ready our purple It was horrible.It didn’t want to cover nicely.I got the run off in a mold but it doesn’t look very nice.Do you have any idea what I did wrong? Yours looks great 👍
@Mauriceleblanc Thank you. What is your pouring medium? Were all of your consistencies the same? If the consistencies weren’t the same for all of your paints that could be the problem. I found if my paints are thick they work better on the vases and tumblers. I hope this helps you figure it out.
I love that you used an old canvas....wtg...really interesting method...and a very nice result...I liked the progression....it must be difficult to know when to stop the 'flow' process...

@ProTr thank you! No, not the same. I poured over this tumbler with acrylic paint. I will be sealing it with epoxy resin when it is cured.

@kymmedesigns Thank you so much! I used a different editing software this time. I LOVE the Pearl paints. I have a couple of ideas to do, one of them I had already done but on a smaller canvas and no video, so I think I will try to replicate it but on a bigger canvas and video it this time.
