Ozzy was sick of being compared to him so he wrote this song to let his fans know he was not down with Crowley and believed his was trickster. I believe in Magick and agree he wasn't as great as the casual thinks. He stole most of his early work from the Golden Dawn. That's why Mathers sued him. Henry Cornelius Aggripa, Franz Bardon, John Dee, and Ed Kelly are leagues above him

Vin Bee Actually he wasn’t, he was someone who was more Rosicrucian, which has Thoth as their center with Christian and Jewish iconography as symbolism. After all, he was once a part of The Hermetic Order Of The Golden Dawn. The way Satanism is today, valuing Satan as a symbol isn’t something Crowley really was known for, as he valued Thoth a lot. If someone is even thinking of Satanism as worshipping the devil, then certainly not either, as he still worshipped Thoth. Did he do it well? No. He was certainly not the best person, but he wasn’t a Satanist.
