Same progress for legacy 1998?
Does anyone know the airflow direction? Or does it matter
Yo i got a 95 Subaru Impreza wagon snd it doesn't hsve an cabin air filter
شكرآ جزيلا وفقكم الله ❤❤❤❤
So I have to take the whole glove box out? There's no access to it?
Subaru Legacy 1999 outback i can't find cabin air filter. It doesn't looks like your car at all.
I cannot find the filter for my 1998 Subaru at the auto parts store. Do you happen to know what the part number of that filter is?
I bought mine on Amazon. Pentius PHBT 6045
Thanks mate changing mine today , your video was very helpful 👍
How to remove glovebox?
Y tf u keeping a raccoon in a cage
Haha I’m not. It was knocking over the garbage cans so I caught it and relocated it in the woods.
ML027 oh, nvm then, srry
This fire was in Sleepyhollow not Tarrytown
Thomas Sanzo Thank you, title changed.
Do you know where I can purchase a new filter for that model? I actually have a 1998, but it looks the same.
I was in Tarrytown at home and I saw smoke and I saw this on snapchat
to the pretend wanna be's who will never ride a fire engine a day in their lives......um, uh... be quiet. And no, none of the critics that commented here so far are firefighters. So don't bother replying about you fake fire service experience (I'm ignoring replies anyway). Your words don't count as fire suppression tools.
Michael Patanella WAAAAAAAAA. Guess this is your company. Don’t worry pal. I know a few guys in this Dept and they aren’t impressed either. Hopefully they learn from this.
Wood burns, brick doesn't simple !
It can still be extremely dangerous
I wasn't there, as the expression goes...not defending or picking on any member...if it were easy, everyone would be a fire fighter... Lot's of listens for everyone here, I hope the FD views all the video....
This is Not Brain Surgery! When you use a device to apply water over a long distance, gravity will pull that stream of water down creating an arch. An arch of water that the operator can't SEE through! You Need a Spotter to the side to guide the stream. This was an example of the pitiful lack of THINKING in the Americans fire disservice. This town like Most in the USA need a wake up call! This was Beyond Stupid!
Another moronic statement from you. The entire US fire service is NOT like this.
@@ffjsb And AGAIN you don't define what is Moronic about my statement! There are countless videos that show the long distance streams of water doing nothing as they completely miss the burning material and they continue to dump the water in that same spot. And where did I say that the ENTIRE fire service does that? Next time you say Moron, you had better be standing in front of a mirror!
"And where did I say that the ENTIRE fire service does that?" "This was an example of the pitiful lack of THINKING in the Americans fire disservice. " Good Lord you're an idiot. You're so senile you can't even remember what you said.
Everything you say is ignorant. I’d think you liked this video. Hell they stayed outside where you would’ve been.
@@heavy7799 Anything Intelligent and Helpful you want to add or does your IQ and maturity restrict you?
Appreciate volunteers but Thursday !!!!! Everybody back to FIRE School !!!!!!I watched and watched and watched for the Ladder Tower to get into position, and cannot figure out what in the world they are trying to do up there. Are they trying to vent the roof and draw the fire to the UNBURNT side of the structure. And if that tower moves that slow get it fixed, or a different bucket man. Too much running around in panic laying hoses in the beginning somebody is going to get hurt. Who ever was directing the monitor from 85 did a good job of putting out the smoke and getting the attack "C" crews wet.
Absolutely no need to take those windows on floor below. Along with no reason for the the second deck gun. Not impressed at all. Thank god the Hudson River is right there. They are wasting so much water. Maybe that’s why they took the windows. Fear of being drowned to death by the unnecessary master streams going into a fire that would’ve taken one 1 3/4 line to put out.
another person who speaks with such a skill, it makes us wonder why you're not commissioner of the FDNY.
I just don't get the breaking out windows when you can simply open them, some departments are so destructive and do so much Unnecessary damage way over and above the fire damage, what in the hell ever happened to salvage and overhaul? We were doing it 20 years ago? I think it shows a lack of training and professionalism, if you are inside and you have things go bad and have flash over conditions or need to Then you break windows, not in these circumstances here its plain stupid!
Joining Up, Dressing Up and Showing does not a good worker make. A strong Work Ethic is what You bring to a job, it isn't Given to you as part of your uniform.
Because of central air most people never open their windows. In a building that age there may me 3 or 4 coats of paint completely sealing the windows closed. If you want your windows opened make sure they work.
@Undisputed Blackjack I was a firefighter and that's why you see departments on the roof cutting holes that's ventilation, heat raises, it's to relieve heat, gases and smoke from the interior, a fire needs 3 things 1 heat 2 fuel and 3 air when you take away one of the three it is extinguished, to open up windows like most STUPID departments do ,especially in the front of the structure when bvb the fire isn't in that part of the house is in warranted damage and if it's in a room that's involved with fire it's like throwing a bucket of gas on the fire it's adding fuel so to speak! I hate to see departments with nice equipment and apparatus doing very unwarranted and unnecessary damage especially when it doesn't help the job they are there for it's as STUPID as a football player showing up at a football game with a fishing rod and then casting onto the field? Also shows the lack of training and professionalism? The cost of damages from the fire is astonishing but if you add in the damage from the fire department you might be very surprised, also most departments have cameras for looking into walls for heat and fire they are very costly but it is used to keep from tearing out walls and damaging property unnecessarily!
@Undisputed Blackjack also you are correct, a good department will investigate, checking a owner's background, bank accounts, mortgage payment information and insurance coverage limits, weather they are behind on house payments, or have upped coverage on the insurance policy or have foreclosure taking place, any of this is a red flag so to speak! Again the fire service is like the police departments, it only takes one BAD officer and you have the public's respect for police officers into the toilet, same with the fire service but it seems like there are more bad untrained departments on UA-cam than not ? And I know There's a lot of good professional firefighters that shake their heads at a lot of these videos that are on here !
It’s required by law that all firemen must break windows, safety factor to expedite escape, release gas, and the boy/girl in every firefighter. He he he he
Sorry for the people that lived in the building. Love to see the deck guns putting the hurt on the fire.
Too bad the Deck Gun operators Missed the burning material! Just Squirting water doesn't count!
I'd like to see all of the missing parts of your video, the ones that show you removing the screw(s) and removing or replacing the filter.
Hi Brian, I don't have this car anymore. If you need to know anything about a 2004 Forester let me know😜
thanks, i didn`t notice the screw and wondered why i can't remove the cover
That spot on mine doesn't have a screw and doesn't come out or anything.
that's cause your car doesn't have one
i didn't think there were cabin filters were in 99s. I have an outback though is that different? I'd like to change mine if there is one.
Hey, did you ever figure out if your 1999 Legacy Outback has a cabin filter ? NM, Found this on the internet so it must be true: Cabin Filter Replacement: Subaru Legacy 1995-1999 Our research indicates that your vehicle does not have a cabin air filter (also known as a pollen or AC filter). Vehicles without cabin air filters typically have a plastic mesh that prevents leaves and other foreign objects from entering the HVAC system. This mesh is part of the vehicle and does not need to be changed.
on the Forester S & L models it was an optional package - most definitely don't have this
I've a 2000 and i can't find a damn bit of info aside from this video. The local dealerships can't even confirm or deny lol
1+ like really helpful, thank you, you are awesome.
Q "rottweiler puppy's ?how much
I believe they are the same filter all the way up until 2001 or 2002.
Hey thanks man I've been searching for this vid for a while now, because mine is a 1996 impreza sti type RA and when I was going through vids of DIY filter change all of them were different. Thanks man and do you know if the filter for the outback would fit mine?
