As a Carlisle Fan, when we had the news, theres was already massive uproar within the City because of our ownership of Michael Knighton. From our point of view at the time, it was laughable. All the talk of this, came from Clydebank and out TV Coverage from ITV Border, did a report on the possibility of '1st Division Football' coming to Brunton Park, and interviewed our MD at the time, and He took the interview as seriousley with a straight face as possible, and it was all just a complete laugh. Where, and exactly who came up with the idea, must have said it for a laugh, while pissed one friday night, and told the media as an April Fool. On a serious note however - Im sorry about the complete demise of youre Football Club in the end.
