okay, I'm gonna share a book idea that I had while I was writing another book: So there's a girl, Laya Kaddel, she's the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Strotorea. She has an older brother and sister: Viktor and Luna (HP names for placeholders). One day there was an attack by a neighboring kingdom ruled by the King's sister, Katerina, and Viktor, Luna and the king all died fighting, but the queen managed to escape with her youngest daughter, Laya, who was only a baby then. The queen gave Laya to her most trusted handmaiden, Ingrid, and told her to run with the baby far away because Katerina wanted to kill her so she would have the throne of Strotorea without any fear of it being taken away from her. The queen gives Ingrid a locket to give Laya when she's old enough. So Ingrid runs away with Laya to her home village, Nordston, and she takes care of Laya with her husband. Now, Nordston is a dragon village (yes, there are dragons) which means that there are dragons everywhere there, in the wild, as pets, as household protectors, etc. The people of Nordston were dragon tamers. Now, Laya lived in Norston without knowing who she really was until she was 17 when Katerina got word of a town where there are dragons, and she's like, "Oh, dragons, we can take them!" Another thing she hears is that the surviving princess, who she has been looking for for 17 years, was in Nordston, so she's like, "Kill 2 birds with one stone." So she sends her army to attack Nordston, and Laya's adopted parents tell her the truth about who she is, give her the locket, and tell her to mount a dragon and fly away. She flies away, and when she turns back, her adoptive parents get killed by the soldiers. So she goes on this journey to end up becoming the queen of Strotorea. It's a really half-baked idea because I put it away for a while to write my novel, The Secret Plains, so I wouldn't get distracted. pls, tell me what you think about it!

If you cant think of a good character name, just ask for the list of players in the Olympics and make sure its diverse, it actually helped me. I mixed the name around and played a bit. And yeah, i dont even remember the faces of th e players so 😂

I NEED BRUTE HONESTY: (I’m thirteen years old and writing my first book) okay so we’re abt 55 A4 pages in and I’m about to really start the plot. Have I left it too late? It’s been relatively happy and I’m scared people are going to get bored.
