nice base!! just an idea could throw the unlootable hidden lockers behind the ramp peaks ya have in the outter shell portion for some hidden loot!
pretty sure this is now patched and no longer works
I think the other roof bunker shut by a half wall is much better than that one but might be wrong
Certainly up for debate. However for the past month or so ive been running in a small group so i am trying to optimize several things about small designs. While keeping security, mobility and ultimately build ability in the equation. The roof bunker has advantages but is costly and does have a glaring weakness

This is incredible man. I'm new to the game (<100hr), been just playing on a PvE 5x server with 1 PvP day per wipe. Everything gets raided in those, as I've learned, but I want a more defensible base. This is good inspiration, thank you. I have 3 questions: What are the 4 elevated chainlink triangles for? Are turrets immune from incoming dmg when behind two chainlink walls? And what is the purpose of the external TC disconnect? (ive seen others do this but I don't understand it)
so its just a normal 1x2?

I thought this was a great design for the 1x2 footprint, not sure why everyone is puffing up their chests in the comments as if all bases aren't based on a finite amount of footprints. Some nasty peaks and turret placements, seems like a ton of fun to play out of. I love how straight forward the compound is, and the furnace wall. The fact that you have a garage+farm is sick too. But uhh.. no water catchers or water barrel so 0/10 I guess 😉

Brother,im being honest,i wasnt Just "new" but i was SUPER NEW..like not even couple of Hours bew and i already started to buy skins i just watched the gameplay for around 1 month and then bought it And bought some skins)) So buying a skin might..just might not be an indicator of person new or not. But i guess i might be wrong😂
@@WaZaaap6 to me its how i judge players. Ive played since 2016 and in my experience new players maybe buy a 10 cent skin but are more reluctant in buying a 13 dollar building skin. I could be wrong sure

Bro you wasted 11k hrs and you still dont understand 1 simple rule, the only good strat to not get offlined is to use outside bunkers and to just have a base with inside basicaly only fake loot, filled lockers and materials - stuff to use in case you need to defend and seal ur base. Anything other than that it need to go inside outside external bunkers, the more bunkers u made the more they need to spent for gettin all your stuff (16 rockets x 1 bunker, 10 bunkers : 160 rockets). So basicaly the only important thing to do on rust is to farm hqm in any ways to make sure you will always have stuff to restart/rebuild/ingeneralplay after gettin raided/offlined. Even if you play in 2x servers the same strat works, and if you want you can also just start with stone/metal bunkers and then after upgrade them on hqm whenever you will have enought resources to do it. Simple and strong af, whoever come check your base and have a bit of knowledge they'll already give up on raiding you. Immagine 100 bunkers, you will not have enought to raid that even if u play all the wipe, plus the other buildings like ur main and flank bases you will build, you will become literaly unraidable. And even if they reach the point were they actualy have 1600+ rockets, it will never be worth to raid it so basicaly you win anyway.
Funny thing about outside bunkers last two wipes we played with them, both times bunkers were hit. Im assuming due to esp hackers and face punch not game banning in appropriate amount of time. Therefore ive opted out of storing boom and good shit in a bunker a hacker will just take for a very cheap raid cost. Until facepunch decides to act timely on banning cheaters i wont waste the effort using outside bunkers
I do understand the point youre making. However, my recent experience is fuck it force them to raid to core and hope they get countered
Lastly, we tried the traditional pixel gap bunker, only thing they boomed. Tried the raised foundation/floor frame bunker, only thing hit. Imho its a waste of design time, wipe time and otherwise effort. Cheaters are getting server banned then it can take facepunch upto 4 months to game ban them, so they hop server to server ruining legitimate players wipes with little to zero consequence

@@mask2459 No there isn't, the honeycomb you place is irrelevant because it's still just 1 wall to TC and your door is placement avoids the honeycomb too. So there's multiple ways to raid this for cheap. 11k hours my ass.

i was using a Dust build with some modifications. I however, took a break from building with my group for a few months and am only starting to get back into it. Then i noticed all the menus from my favorite build servers had been updated so i'm trying to figure them out now too.

I changed the power plant from the trommel to the sedulity. Kept everything else default. Gives me the extra oompf i need to make the prospecting for rocks faster

Its a real old concept and i did leave out a vital part of it on accident. If it still works the base owners also have to block the socket where the frame goes typically with an electrical component
