I'm curious, where do you get the box of pennies from, I go to the bank (in Canada) and they never have any. I know I'm late on starting to search for them, since I have recently just started to coin roll hunt. Can you share any suggestions to where to get these for a good price. I have alot of the 25 and 500 dollar bills from cannada still alpt i mean alot and i was wanting to trade them in and get money for it even though im in the united states my bank says yes thet can exchange the money but cant exchange any non current legal tenser and that i jave all those non legal tender bills they wont take them in and do the exchange into American money. I forgot i had them until i was cleaning out my safe found these 5 huge vanilla contract paper aized envolopes bulging with something ipen them up and all thos camnadian cash i had saved up and my bank said i cant legally get introuble for mkney laundering cause i forgot about it and have paper trail proof to go with it all showing how i aquired the money anf where from and whst for bjt they said i need to go to Canada but i found collectors wanting them and selling them to collectors for a little.more then face value 500 dollar bills im selling and getting paid 1000 usd for each 500 dollar bill i have and 45 for the 25 dollar bills so im on a gold mine on accident

forgot to say i found a 1996 attach 6 in decent shape

recently i compare a roll of pre 81 nickels to a 2022 roll of nickels i use as a guide when i roll up nickels, and the pre 81 nickels weigh about 23 grams more than the 2022 roll. also i have phone one bunny nickel nicely double struck on the date and and 1980 nickel with nice doubling on the date, also some 2000p nickels with doubling on both sides. and some 2001p nickels with a weird mark coming from the queens neck someone selling these on ebay. by now i have found eight bare beavers;

banks are giving me a hard time everytime I bring back rolls which were shorted, most of them want me to pay them the difference

recently i bought two 100 dollars nickel boxes from a bank and found some nice finds, i found more than one 47ml and a 1951 steel and a few bunny nickels and a 1970 nickel 2000p nickel and notice some 2001 that have some too marks or harp lines from the front of the queens neck but the best i did was a 1967 double date nickel and is a strong double date an d a very rare 1980 double date

looking at this video i have found three 1990 bare beavers, the one time i found two bare beavers i my poor mans roll hunt. I go to my bank and buy up to 20.00 in loose rolls of nickels.

Good to see they still have trade-in value at a bank; just not legal tender value for trade. That’s not always in case. I was in Europe a number of times during the long transition from national currencies to the euro. During this time, prices were provided in both the local currency and the euro during this transition. But there was a well-publicized deadline. I was at a bank in Paris the day after the deadline. A man ahead of me had a duffel bag just packed with 200-franc banknotes. The bank teller just slowly shook her head and explained that the deadline to turn them in had expired. The bank could not accept them. He didn’t say a word and just quietly left.

i have a color double maple leaf quarter ( 1 yellow 1 red maple leaf) but can't seem it find it anywhere to see what it may be valued at any ideas where i would find it

I travel from Detroit to Windsor every now and then and I always collect coins left over from my travels. I have at least two of these commemorative quarters, and a few rare loonies and toonies.

I just tried to exchange a 1937 series $20.00 at my local bank and they said that they couldn’t accept it

I still have a crisp never circulated 1954 2$ bill. Also kept a couple from the 1974 and 1986 version of the 2$. I also have a crisp never circulated 1$ from 1954 and one from 1973. Probably not worth much but an interesting souvenir.

7:46 Recently (Feb 2023) I visited some Canadian coin/banknote shops near me, and all of them were selling UNC 1973 $1 notes for between $3-$4 each. I even saw 2, 3 and 9 sequential bundles that were still $3-$4 for each note in that set, so at least the shops near me have not added a premium for sequential notes. But eBay on the other hand? 🙄 I've seen similar UNC 1973 $1 notes starting at $10 each, and if that note was part of a sequential set, it worked out to be around $12-14+ each, and they were still selling (most likely to uninformed buyers). Crazy.
