Revo OEM+ Intake & Diverter Valve Spacer - Audi B9 SQ5 3.0T (AGGRESSIVE SOUND)
In this video, I install, test, and review the Revo OEM+ intake upgrade on my 2018 Audi SQ5 (B9). As a bonus, I threw on the diverter valve spacer for an improved sound.

res delete causes increase in performance?????? Maybe, your 1st pull was worse than the 2nd one, and that is?...
Bro the turbo flutter noise is VERY bad for the compressor wheel in the turbo. You will get shaft play very fast if you do not blow the turbo first, I would uninstall that now. Only a wastegate should make a flutter noise... from time to time, NOT a bypass valve. (i say bypass valve and not blow off valve because adding a spacer into a bypass to make it vent to atmosphere is a no no)
There has been so many tests done on compressor surge. Never have i heard its bad? I have ran many turbo cars like this with zero problems for years
@@wanaka6969 maybe you were lucky but the BOV you want to get is called a hybrid bypass valve, it stays closed during low boost to allow it to recirculate but during high boost it will vent to atmosphere. This will save your turbo from potentially failing early.

Do you hear any drone? 034 has a red delete and I’m interested in it but I don’t want too much drone. Also did you turn off your soundaktor?
034 advertises no drone. I'm curious too if that is true or not
The diverter valve spacer could be where you lost some power.
@AW Visuals - You'd get better 0-60 results with a throttle controller. I'd almost gurantee you'd hit lower 4's with this modification. The flap in your throttle body is still controlled by the computer which is giving you a throttle lag response. I'm an SQ5 owner with 15 grand worth of mods. Before that ever came about, it was a stage 1 APR tune with that throttle controller and I was eating up Scat backs and pulling hard from the dig on Hell Cats all day. Just a thought for the SQ5 fans.
What does it do exactly and how does it make the car faster? Also do you have the ultimate9 evc controller?

no cat mod ? i've tried a complete titanium exhaust line, but without cat mod (300 cel) , sound is really close to original
Front and middle res delete, muffler intact on my A6. Still quiet, good tone, no drone. Recommend

Absolutely. Warranty expires this year so I'm going to upgrade to an actual flash tune and IC.

@@awongvisuals 034, don’t really have a preference but I found them first and I run stage 2 on my b9 S5 and i they got rid of the CEL :). I’ve not had any issues with them.
@@awongvisuals I guess that's key really, waiting for warrant to expire? I'm on a '19 SQ5 and we have 4 years of warranty because :sensible: but also I wanna tune it... so. Bugger.

Any drone?
Very little drone under 2K RPM and in regular/comfort mode. Cruising 70-75mph is relatively quiet.
@@awongvisuals I’m leaning HF CTS DP vs the reso delete. I want the car to have a little more bark but no real noticeable drone.
@@corycooper4955 catless down pipe, from what I've heard, will give you CEL if not flash tuned. Also, you might have some gas fumes in the cabin. But it will probably give you more significant power gains.

Resonator delete is definitely the way to go with this cars because they have valved mufflers from the factory, if you want more sound just get a HFC and you’ll also get a little more performance

Thanks and much appreciated! There's not a whole lot I don't like about the car. I would say the only things that drive me crazy are the faux exhaust and the glitchy Audi pre-sense system. I'll make a video about this soon!
I love my 2023 sq5 however, audi bakes in the flash counter. if u tune your car and flash back ecu to stock for a dealer warranty issue audi will still know and void your warranty...res delete should not affect warranty
Was a straight pipe or an xpipe? I’m debating on just going to the muffler shop or getting the ECS xpipe
I debated this for a while too. I asked a friend about it and he told me the ECS Xpipe is essentially the equivalent of a muffler shop doing a res delete and replacing it with standard piping. It's about half the price and you don't have to do any of the labor.
