They spent the better part of 11 seasons capturing my attention before the 2004-05 lockout ruined everything. There are or have been other great commentators since - Mike Emrick (NBC era) and Kenny Albert (who will do the Stanley Cup Finals for TNT this season) come to mind, but there is only one Gary Thorne.
