To be fair, I don’t think that verse you said has anything to do with sharing your testimony, letting your good deeds shine so the world can see them is not the same thing as a commandment to share your testimony I say this, not because sharing your testimony is bad, because it really is good, but we have to be aware of just because somebody doesn’t know their testimony or their testimony might not be a really moving or inspiring doesn’t mean they’re not Christian or their disobeying something God tells them
That’s a totally fair point to make and it would’ve been good for me to clarify that. I did do a full video on this and my main point is actually that your testimony doesn’t have to be shocking, because mine sure isn’t. Everyone does have a testimony to some extent considering that Jesus died for all of us. I was just trying to encourage everyone to not be afraid to share what God has done for them. The intent wasn’t to come across as preachy and I’ll keep that in mind moving forward. Also for added context, I mainly relied Matt. 10:32 for the full video, (acknowledge Jesus before men and He will acknowledge us in heaven) but I added this verse in for the short.
