Mario Galaxy's sound design is something extraordinary. It's simply out of this world. Jokes aside, Mario Galaxy's sound design was super impactful on me as a child. The combination of spacious gameplay, and such a far off, slow, deliberate, emotionally complicated mix of both background music and sound effects really struck so many chords with me throughout the game and through my remembrance of the game. It's not a masterpiece by any means but the emotions it brought out as a game for me as a kid is something I'll forever be grateful for.

Super Mario Galaxy left me amazed when I first played it as a 10 years old child, it was Christmas and I remember I couldn't stop playing it! It featured so many different worlds in just one game... the best for my insatiable curiosity. This game was so influent for my childhood that so far I've written three books and a half about Super Mario Galaxy (when I finished a game that had particularly caught me I used to write books with similar adventures so that I could feel that game was never finished). The last half is to be completed and this music is giving me so many ideas, thank you for uploading with this gorgeous picture 💙💙💙
