In the end of 2016, Saiful Wadud Helal, eminent Bangladeshi documentary filmmaker, invited me to participate an event, i.e. a screening program of his recently released documentary feature film “Jholmolia - The Sacred Water” for the first time in the very place the film is about.
The film screening program was a special event both for the villagers and the filmmaker in a sense that the villagers have not yet seen the film so far and the filmmaker was eager to show his work to the villagers which is basically about them. So the screening arrangement became a good opportunity for everyone to interact regarding their involvement with the film.
Besides witnessing this event, I had some spare time to look around and enjoy the beauty of this beautiful village and of course to observe the protagonist (of the film) "Jholmolia"s mesmerizing beauty.
