I was elected as a Delegate to the RNC in Pennsylvanias 9th Congressional District (Congressman Dan Meusers District) back in April and on the day of the first Butler rally, I was headed to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention flying from Harrisburg to Detroit when the first assassination attempt occurred where President Donald Trump and 3 others were shot. I found out from a couple sitting next to me in first class from San Francisco they showed me a few photos they had seen online and we landed 10 minutes later and I got off the plane and my phone was going off a mile a minute with 30 different people calling me to see if I knew what happened or if I was OK or to see if I was at Butler, between the time I got off the plane to the time, I across the airport to catch my next flight. And it was on every TV in the airport. I was thankful to find out later that President Trump was OK and was going to be coming to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention. God protected Trump that day from that bullet. Unfortunately a firefighter was Killed by the shooter but he died a hero protecting his wife and daughter from the gun fire. Every time Trump entered the arena of the Fiserv Center, Lee Greenwood would sing God Bless The USA live, and the first time Trump walked into the arena, he got a heroes welcome and there wasn't a dry eye in the entire building. We were singing along with Lee Greenwood in unison then and all the other times he came in. I remember balling my eyes out as Trump entered to make his acceptance speech on stage. Then Trump honored the slain fire chief as they had his uniform and helmet up on stage. I'll never forget that as long as I live.
