Okay I absolutely love demon1 and I do believe he can and should be the best player in the world but the real issue is his work ethic. When he had his debut with NRG this guy was on vacation for months without playing valorant. No practice with the team, no chemistry building, and also he just didn’t care. During an interview they asked him how does he practice for matches and his respond was he doesn’t because he doesn’t care who he plays he just loads into the server and plays the game. He’s a great player but you NEED that hunger to win if you want to win. He did the same this year. Didn’t play the game and didn’t really practice that much. Take a look at NRG now. All of them are so hungry to win they actually grinded extremely hard this off season. None of them streamed because they were practicing every single day. When LEV started practice NRG had already played the SEN city classic tournament and had been practicing for months 😂 I love the guy but he needs to put more work into his team and career. It’s not a skill issue he’s still good at the game but his team just doesn’t have that chemistry.

its just me or i was wrong for hearing that "jawgemo isnt just better than demon1". im not trying to glaze it, but if u r watching jawgemo even when they won the champions, jawgemo was there everytime and always doing great when some of their player doing bad or some mistake. im not saying that demon1 is not a great player, yes he is great. but u cant just compare a momentum player with jawgemo who did great almost every time. EG roster changed and he still perform like a demon. now he move to G2 and still doing great. thats just diff. btw jawgemo is the real MVP for me when they win champions (for overall matches)

i genuinely think that demon1 just needs to play the game more. id be curious to see his hours outside of scrims. the better players grind more and they also are able to play a lot of agents to a high level even without it being their main role just cause of sheer experience. sad to see wish he improves though

Honestly everyone keep yapping about how demon1 need the right environment but at some point you need to realize that his inability to adapt means he's not actually that good. Aspas fits in every system he's in. If you need "the perfect environment" to shine you are objectively a liability. He was good in a different meta he obviously cannot play solo duelist, he needs a role change badly and that's the only way he'll actually be somewhat good again.
