Vintage Hankies With Swear Words Embroidered On Them
Very cute I just ordered a doll house to put together I'm going to do a haunted house well done😊
Thank you!
What kind of wire do you use?
For this video I used a 20 gauge craft wire. I have used thinner wire for a similar one in the past - 26 gauge I think. I always say try to use what you have on hand but - I wouldn't recommend a wire that is too thick and hard to bend or too thin that it will break with the weight of the beads. :)
Great Video! Thanks for Sharing!
Thanks so much!!! :)
Nice!!!!
Thanks!
Handmade gifts are always special.
Yes, I agree! :)
I make candles for my own use from scrap wax too. My favorite jars to reuse are form the pesto I buy. Very nice video! I rec'd A small tin of cookies just last weekend, about the size of the round ones you had.
Pesto jars are such a great size for candles - I'm going to have to start collecting them. :)
Lovely, have a Merry Christmas
Thank you so much! And a Merry Christmas to you too!🎄
Are the scents specific for wax or essential oils?
Hi Carol, That is a good point! Yes, these scented oils are made specifically for soap and candle making. (I ordered these on amazon a while ago.) You can bypass the need for scented oil by repurposing existing candle wax that has scent. This is a good way to use up spent candles that don't quite burn all the way down. Or you can leave the scent out completely. Thanks - Jane :)
Birdhouses are some of my favorite things to collect. I have them in all different sizes and shapes. I would be happy to sacrifice a couple to make some Christmas dioramas. Yours are so cute and adorable. I do not have any of the vintage looking Christmas figures, but maybe I can find some at the thrift store. I watched your Christmas thrift finds and I cannot wait to see what you make with them.
I hope you found some cute treasures at the thrift store. It's always an adventure! 🙂
I have a vivid image of having a set of Christmas themed wooden puzzle blocks. I must have been about 4 years old. sigh ;) TY for this, I have a bunch of blocks to play with!
I love when we see something that brings back a warm memory. :)
That is so cool thank you for sharing I loved that 👍❤ happy Christmas
Thanks so much! 🥰
Thrifting is so much fun! I love the hunt and seeing old things I grew up with. Lovely video! New subscriber!
Thanks so much - and I agree. It's like a treasure hunt. :)
New subscriber here. I love these. So pretty.
Thanks so much!!! :)
Very cute and looks like lots of fun to create!!
Thanks so much for your comment! It was fun to make and I love the way they turned out.
This look spooktacular..Love it 🥰
Thank you so much 🤗
Thank you Just found your videos.
I love the peacefulness of your video and you soft, gentle voice. We need more peacefulness and gentle voices in this world. I also love that you thrifted gifts for your grandchildren. I've done that myself and wish more people saw the value in doing so. I have a couple of those clocks and I'm planning to do the same thing with them. I like decorating with natural items, so that's another thing we have in common. I can't wait to see what you do with everything!
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your love of thrifting! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment and look forward to sharing lots more crafting adventures with you. :)
So cute! I love dollhouses! I’m 66!!

Very cute 🥰
It’s so cute 🥰

Thanks so much!!!
Of Course Ara Bently of Bentley House Minis is the uncrowned queen of the miniature world (can't believe I nearly forgot the person who got everyone else hooked!)
I admit that I am not well versed in the miniature world but it is so fun to create tiny treasures!
Enjoyable video but don't use superglue on dollhouse windows as it can fog up acetate. Its better to use UHU or E6000, whatever. You have a lovely dollhouse and some great ideas❤ I will like and sub because theres always lots of crossover in the crafting community and sometimes its nice to watch other artists because they often have ideas you wouldn't have thought of and techniques that can be utilised in miniature making. Double sided tape is great, I wish I could have prevented your superglue disaster, thats what I mean about different ideas from different areas of crafting, its always worth watching other artists to get fresh ideas and knowledge. If you like miniatures, Little Gretchen's workshop, Queen City Minis and Tiny Keyhole minis are some great places with super talented miniaturists that are well worth having a look at.
Yes, you are right and thanks for the tip. I think I knew that it wasn't going to go well and indeed it did not. It all turned out ok in the end. I agree about crossover in the crafting community - I love to learn new tricks and and techniques! :)
Beautiful dollhouse
Thanks so much! It was fun to decorate!
This is adorable ❤
Thanks so much!!!! :)
Nicely built Story Book cottage by Greenleaf.
Thanks for letting me know about the maker of this house. It really is a beautiful miniature. :)
Loved watching this Jane! Did you make the spell books and the viles yourself too? I love the way it has all come together, my nieces would love a Halloween spooky house to play with!
Thanks! I got the tiny books and vials from the craft store. Part of the fun is finding things to put in the house. Kids always seem to love this house. I think it stirs the imagination and isn't too scary.
In Canada we can not by liquid starch like that
Love these! So ethereal.
So glad I found you. I am going to give this a try. Thank you!
Cutest ghosties ever!
What a fun project! xx
@@northernlass Thanks!!!
i love this project so much!!!!!
@@JessicaCrafternoon Thank you! 😘
Thanks for this diy! I saw these on Grandin but too much $$. I will be trying this myself.
great idea
❤❤❤it
I love your spooky dollhouse, Jane! I wish I had one! Yours is so cool and creepy! ~Janet in Canada
Thanks so much Janet. Maybe I will do a longer video when I set it up this year. :)
I like this craft, but what did you use for the noise part? Did not see in the video. ~Janet in Canada
Hi Janet, I used some jingle bells for the noise but you could also use dried beans, corn or rice. :)
I haven’t seen these, but love them for Halloween! Thank you so much for sharing!
Why didn't you do this on the inside of the jar?
I've used covers to make bags or to post papers that need to stay firm... so all parts can be used . Love this idea thankyou
Even if I hate, when books are destroyed, I like this frugal idea.
Hi Jane! I love how the treasure box came out! It looks amazing! I can't wait to see more! Thanks for sharing - Nancy❤
I would like to know where the music is from.
I love this music! It is by: Jakub Pietras; The Witching Hour. I get my music from Artlist.io.
@@janesdistractions Okay, thanks!
I can't wait to try this!!
You should! It is a fun project. :)
