Thanks for sharing. I'm familiar with the transactional idea, but am really interested in men and women who want to have a transformational relationship that meets both people's needs, and making that a reality for people. I always come back to what are a person's relationship goals and how can they find/meet someone with the same goals and values so they can have a healthy relationship. Thanks!

@@DateRite While that's all fine and good and maybe even ideal, the way Western society is and the rest of the world now slowly, couples truely loving and supporting each other is becoming rarer and rarer. Even from and evolutionary perspective if you think it's the end all, the dating and lifestyle behaviors of men and women couldn't be more different...

And on idealized dating arranging. I have seen many female dating coaches give up on many western woman's dating requirements as being ridiculously high. Many have become the men they idealized or think they have. The level of delusion and unbridled hypgermy out there now.

Yeah I agree with you on that that finding a person that is mutually supportive is becoming more rare. I've had a lot of friends that I've served with in the Navy pursue more traditional relationships with people from other countries that are more family/marriage oriented. I encourage men to hang in places like churches and service oriented organizations to meet people who often times share a more traditional supportive view of relationships. thanks for your input.

What do you do to get the guy's attention and put you on his radar? Sitting around passively isn't going to get him to take the lead.

@@philbrutsche8928 a girl can smile, start a conversation, a glance, participate in activities. Be available, go to functions.

@@philbrutsche8928 I agree. Passivity will rarely put you on the radar of another person. Hopefully some of the tips in the video were helpful to catch the other person's attention.

​@@DateRite 100%, relationships - at all stages - is a 2-way street and I think a lot of women forget that, they need to put effort in as well. Men can't read minds!

I've been there. myself and we tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves and family does too. Don't make the mistake I made which was to rush into something with someone who not a good fit for me. Seems guys especially are marrying in their early to mid 30s now days. Hang in there!

I agree it's too hard to make things work in dating if you both come from two different values

rejection fatigue is a real thing. One thing I encourage guys to do is to wait for a period of time before asking someone out, especially if they have been rejected several times. Usually by giving it more time to see if there is mutual interest or curiosity is key to getting a "yes." Depending on life stage and proximity to the person, I'd encourage you to take your time. But also, I acknowledge I don't know the details. Hang in there!

Hey Kelly, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you and it seems the older people get in their dating they only want friends with benefits. I encourage men to step up and make the commitment when they find a godly woman.

@@DateRite they are either unsure or they say “we will see” or maybe just friends for now and then want sex. The men I have married are abusive. Can’t seem to get it right or find the Godly man who wants marriage and wait on sex until then.

@@DateRite I do understand I might not be right for them but if they can not state what they are looking for like marriage then I’m not going to be led on to be disappointed.

I’m 60 years old, I’m fine being alone. I enjoy my own company. But as one of many sisters, all who got married, I never found that someone so I never married never had kids. I wish I had, but it never worked out. At this age, I don’t see me ever getting married. It’s a part of life. I have missed out on although I do have many other blessings. I enjoy taking my own day trips and going to museums and I don’t have fear or paralysis of eating out alone. But I do wonder, what I simply wasn’t doing well enough to attract that someone else. I have no answers.

Hi. Thanks for your response. I'm in my 50s and hope my best years are still ahead. If there is no positive in getting married then marriage sounds like it's not an option. Nothing wrong with being single and God has so many blessing in the single life as well. Hope your week is going well.

Not too mention as we age our sexual performance declines. Women they get a total hysterectomy making that much worse she can’t help it though. Yeah that’s the downside it marrying as you’re in your older age. Unless you wanna date somebody young enough too be your child. Or get a woman looking for a US citizenship you they’ll do anything too get the green card.

@precious_muse thanks for sharing. If someone uses Matt. 22:30 as a Scripture to be content in singleness that's pretty sad. God made us for relationship. He gave us wonderful desires for intimacy. And a command in the very beginning to procreate. These are real desires given to us by a wonderful God. I got married later in life and I didn't enjoy the many frustrations I experienced as a single man. However, there was a point when I shifted my focus to how I was searching for a spouse and things that i was doing that sabotaged my dating relationships. That's what i teach in my online course. However, I want you to know your fear is real and. it makes you no less spiritual than others. it makes you human. Thanks again for sharing. God bless!

I believe the same God Who made marriage and children can be trusted when He promises something better in the life to come.

The difference between here and heaven is we will have that very joy and fulfillment in heaven and in an intimate relationship. The very pleasure in sex is a replica of our union in Christ. We won’t care in heaven cause there will no pain, loneliness, or tiredness. That is why sex is the only pleasure of that magnitude because of what the bible says it represents; the union of Christ and his church. Only here on earth is sex perverted that’s not how God meant for it. Life comes from it.

@@precious_muse there are several verses on Christ being the bridegroom like Matthew 25 and Jeremiah 25, Matthew 22. There is more that say Christ is the bridegroom and the church is the bride. And Revelation 21 describes no more pain or suffering. Complete bliss if there is no suffering

Yeah this seems to be pretty standard and I don't think most guys get it, and put pressure on themselves to just act in hte moment. you insights are good and helpful to the guys who may see your comment. thanks for sharing.
