I hope you know this isn't the Beatles. This is someone doing Michael's songs in the style of the Beatles. Considering Beatles disbanded in 1970, and Lenon was killed before most of these songs were written, it couldn't be the Beatles.

The updated 2024 version has been released, but please don't delete this, Larry! Essentially, the erasure of the 2023 version seems to be a legal problem - Apple Jam added newly written lyrics in the harmonies, verbal quotes from the original John Lennon demo and other stuff, which legally qualifies it as a mash-up (as opposed to a cover). Mash-ups require a lot more paperwork (including in-writing permission from the copyright holders), which can be very fickle and expensive. The 2024 update removes these entirely so it only includes stuff from the released 'Now and Then' version (so it's just a cover) - but is sadly worse off for it!

Surely it is not the Beatles. It's just a fan-created fantasy, with perhaps bits of the original Beatle recording.
it's made by a tribute band, I think it was called "virtual beatles", they made a whole album playing on top of John demos, the instruments are not The Beatles, the tribute band used John's voice but they played the instruments.
I think this could probably have been what it would have been like if this song would have been on Anthology 3. But then, I could be wrong...
Agree, this is a bit of an insight into what could have been. Jeff Lynne should have been involved in the official release of "Now and Then", and it's a shame it did not happen for Anthology 3. "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love" could not have happened without him, and those original mixes captured it perfectly - the later remixes released on '1+', while they gained some clarity that wasn't available with 1995 technology, overall they were inferior.
I agree, this version is more powerful than the official, it's pity.

The original came out on an Anthology 3 Expanded edition on Voodoo records. Doesn't sound as good as this one, Johns voice was washed with too many effects on it. Sounded like he was under water.

This version is NOT the Iamaphoney version, though I am not sure who made this version since it was passed around on bootlegs without credit. If anyone knows I would love to add credit.
The Album is called The Virtual Beatles, With a little Help. It used Demos from George, John and Paul with additional overdubs by Octavio Cavalli and Max Gonzalez.

The talking is from one of the commercials I pulled clips from, and unfortunately the tools I have to remove voices was also removing the whistling lead.
