I subscribed to her channel a very long time ago when she was still a small channel. Overall, I like her but it’s true that I don’t watch her as much as before. The travels she makes are probably not that expensive for her and her husband, because he is a travel agent so I don’t think that we should blame her for that, if I liked traveling and if my man was getting travels for cheap, I would be the first one to go. They bought their office apartment/house (I’m not sure), because, if I understood correctly, they finished to pay for their house, and it’s actually a smart move financially speaking. But that’s probably why she makes so many affiliate links: because she needs to pay for the mortgage. Hence the panic regarding the money. Lately she said that she won’t do makeup decluttering videos anymore, that’s a pity because it’s what made me stay on her channel. The vlogs don’t interest me that much and her Amazon recommendations don’t interest me at all… There was a time when she was working as a teacher for small kids + her videos. Of course, now she has two kids at home, it takes some time but she shouldn’t be overwhelmed like that. Her husband makes wonderful trip documentaries, hopefully he will succeed in this field. She should be able to pivot her channel by doing it by a subtle way. If she changed it too suddenly, it wouldn’t be a good idea. Just stopping the decluttering videos is already a bad idea. She should calm down on Amazon and other affiliate links and brainstorm about what she really wants, I think.

I haven’t seen the movie yet, but it’s definitely on my list to watch. I think the whole Blake Lively situation is a little sus especially since she seemed so non serious about the movie and the fact that her hair care line released around the same time which seemed very coincidental.🤔

I trusted her advice on makeup, she seemed very down to earth. After horrible experiences with several recommendations, and the constant disney and affiliate links, I got suspicious and stopped watching. I usually know immediately when I want to become a subscriber. Sometimes it takes a couple of videos. I couldn't relate to her after a while. I am still subscribed to Tati, but I am thinking of unsubscribing from her channel as well. all this talk of emails and phone updates is a little more than I'm comfortable with. Twitter and instagram are immediate updates. I don't see the need for email and phone number collecting.... I think there are channels that can pivot successfully. I used to love a channel call the Brother's Green. 2 brothers who are home cooks. then it became pro home cooks, when one brother moved to a different state. now the channel has undergone another pivot, to focus more on lifestyle. the fellow has remained consistent and doesn't flood his followers with affiliate link after affiliate link. His airfryer had the brand taped over at one point so as not to advertise. He radiates genuine love for food and cooking and other lifestyle related content. You can tell he is making a good living, but he doesn't flaunt it and is true to his roots, the delicious struggle meal and living to the best of what you have. viewers can sense when they are being sold a bill of goods.

Looks beautiful on you. I didn’t like the icy nude palette and returned it. I have all of huda beauty palettes and I just felt this palette was meh for me. I hated the glitter shade. There is repetitive shades to me in this palette. Glad you love it. And loved your reviews. ❤

Jessica lies constantly and then gets caught in her lies and whines about it. She is not a good mother and I feel sorry for Gigi the oldest child. I unsubscribed years ago. Neither she nor her husband actually work or do any any semblance of work including UA-cam. They are real pieces of work!

Part of the allure of lifestyle/beauty creators is that we get to see people enjoy things we might not be able to afford or do. Maybe I can't afford to buy new makeup or do a clothing haul, but it's still nice to see all the new make up that's coming out. When I have extra money, I use these review videos to help me choose a product that works for me. In this economy, I'm happy to see smaller creators go on see success for themselves. Yes, some people are messy, but we can always unfollow them if their content is problematic or makes us feel bad. Obviously, we should call out people doing immoral/unethical things. But i would say a lot of these creators simply get out of touch.

I got all of the sprays except the lavender one. Now i wished I had. 😢. Wonder if it will be in store on SAS day on the 26th? ❤❤

1st,travelling during Covid - come on? 2nd - last vlogmas,they went on grocery runs ALMOST every single day. Who does that. In this economy? Seems so out of touch. And to this day -- buy,buy,buy. Consumerism overload. And that's not just her. 3rd - she has editors and ONLY 2 videos a week? And this is her MAIN job? Man. That's privilege. Lastly - I don't care much for Tyler but for people who "will listen to advice but sometimes we get too much advice",they sure do give a lot of "advice". Overall,her channel is stuck. She's stuck. Have not listened to her in years but she always pops up randomly. My makeup style changed so what I consumed also changed. I like to watch indie makeup content creators,one of them being Theresa is Dead (NOT for the faint hearted),and she puts a lot of her own personality in it. She joined a trio playing "New Makeup Bingo" but she essentially evolved it to become her own fun game. Theresa's channel has grown and now she and her husband,Alex goes on food tours (she's also a Disney adult but doesn't come off as a Disney snob). Maybe the Brauns can just focus on their Disney podcast and JB can leave the makeup world. Her style is basic anyways. Another one is Taylor Wynn. She has had major shifts but her channel is...so boring.

I like Jess, but i dont like anyone on the internet enough to give them a pass for bad behaviors. I cant trust any of them & thats okay with me, bc trust isnt something i need from my entertainment. However it seems not everyone thinks like me. If a viewer enjoys a creator enough to pivot with them, id say yes, they can, but its quite subjective.

I think one of Jessica's biggest hurdles to being relatable is that she never owns up to the massive privileges she has. There are bigger content creators out there who are, or at least appear, more down-to-Earth. She was able to buy a big house before she was 30 (maybe with familial help?), she married a guy who literally cooks, cleans, and rehabs the house she lives in.. he is also always there, to help parent in a big way (how would she fare if she had to wait for him to get home late and she had to get the girls to bed every night)... she has a ton of family support on both sides (huge village) so her and hubby can live a pre-kids lifestyle, whenever they want... plus she can afford anything her heart desires (maybe growing up as 1 of 6 makes this a dream for her)... Bottom line, she's rolling in privilege and is failing on the relatability front.

I stopped watching her for over a year because of all The sponsorships. It seemed to be every single video. Now I’ll watch on occasion, if it’s not sponsored.

As we’ve talked about before, Leah Janae has done a big pivot with her channel. She’s focusing more on Disney, fragrance, and shop with me videos. Still some makeup, but not as much. I feel like it’s been successful, but I personally have unsubscribed from her because I don’t care to see Disney content or constant shopping videos. Another UA-camr that I used to love so much, Lauren Mae Beauty, has also done a major shift. She’s definitely still focusing on makeup, but her content is extremely different. She’s definitely gone more towards luxury. She does have an entirely different channel geared towards fragrance which I actually admire her for because she’s doing something that she loves, but on a different channel for those of us that aren’t there for fragrance. I don’t care for her as much because she used to be super creative, eclectic, and fun and now I feel like she’s just trying to push very expensive products.

Yeah, that was really a shtshow of disgusting comments, and Brooke and Tana are very responsible for putting it out there. It's so clear that they're absolutely terrified of getting on his bad side. 2 weeks after this (your) vid came out, we know that Trisha isn't airing her show with him. I guess we know why- he probably did the same thing again or even worse. In some way I feel sorry for him (he must have had a truly painful past to have become this way) but from another perspective, JEEZ, he should seriously attempt to get it together and get therapy for his aggression and anger problems. In the end he can put out as much makeup as he wants- he's still making the world an uglier place.

How sad that some people think that disliking JS is because they're "jealous". JS is very obviously a miserable, angry, troubled person. Some people are that daft and emotionally immature that they'd rather be rich, famous and effed up in the head than financially average off and happy, and actually think feeling that way is normal. How shallow- not to speak of how strange a person one would have to be to defend him after all of the horrific things he's done. I absolutely agree with you. And I love Adam McIntyre- he's a REAL shining star ⭐️ with a good heart and a great mind! He's going to go far. 💗

Happy with the fragrance focus too, but I wish it wasn’t like watching a commercial. Some of these fragrance creators are literally just trying to sell us stuff. Fragrance is a super pricy hobby to get into so I don’t enjoy the constant pushing. Or at least recommend travel sizes instead of full sizes.

I like Jessica but do not like her husband anymore. He is a book snob, a food snob, a workout snob, etc. I was definitely a yuppie in my early 20’s so a lot of the content being upscale does not bother me. But Tyler I think takes it too far. Let’s cook pasta in a frying pan because that was how some big cookbook author who was also on the air a lot and is really a snob, I’m sorry I don’t remember his name. But if you think Jessica is too rich and throws it in your face try watching Shea Whitney. Just look at her left hand!! Her husband is a pilot who now works for her, they own their own plane, and they just bought a cabin; about 6000 sq. Beautiful place but…..really? I forget how many acres of land it came with but they wanted more privacy so they bought the adjacent 50 acre parcel as well. But her content is usually good but I do not buy sponsored content, I go directly through whatever retailer she recommends cause I don’t want to line her pockets!

I think he wants a comeback. He needs a justifiable target to redirect peoples attention from the elephant in the room every time he speaks-- he's a more or less canceled individual and its very difficult for people to forget it even though its been quite some time. Its easy for others to forget your transgressions when you bring up someone elses faults. Idk anything about Mikayla, so I dont have a dog in that fight, but I've been present for the 3 or 4 times Jeffree has been "canceled" and this is the longest hes had to go underground. He probably has a point, i literally wouldn't know, but i still think its just a ploy to reintegrate himself in the beauty world online.
