Wow. I resonate with all your saying. They have been integral in moving forward re guidance from our spirit world. I got the deck off Temu, didn't come with guidebook. The card your holding at 10 mins in when I was purging always reminded me of a cockroach for some reason , now I look at that image with such a different perspective. . I see beauty and also recognise my growth in the shadow work. I must get the proper set with guidebook. I shuffle and ask spirit to flip one out that I need to see. It flies out , and is always so aligned with where im at . Thankyou for this clip. Xxx

Mouse, with his scrutiny and and seeing what is there. Some of what is written there is from the story of Jumping Mouse. As a Native American (first people, American Indian, aboriginal) these cards remind me of the stories that were told to me when I was young and later in life. However, do you have a video on a pathway spread? Because 7th spread is it the contrary since it is about something blocking you or your way. I got these cards in 1993, and all my moving about I have lost them. I recently found them on Amazon here in the EU. I do not like how big they are. The earlier version was the size of a deck of cards, and easier for my small hands. I draw a card everyday. As for the totem, it aligns with the spirit animals of my full blooded brother and sister, crow and hummingbird respectively. Above and within. I am not sure about the totem spread. I was very unsure when i drew it, because I did not shuffle the deck right prior to the draw. However, this next year I hope to complete a vision quest or a sweat to become more in tune with my spirit animal.

Thank you so much for this video. I just started watching. I'm having a hard time with this deck because I don't see anything that says what the hanging items are and what they refer to. I bought them last week and have been connecting all week. When I bought from the Taos location there wasn't an additional box - just the book, box, and cards you have. I wish they were matte so I could write notes on them (which I like to do) easier. Also, I just prefer non glossy cards :-)

Hello, Amazing video I am a libra but I inherited the very same medicine cards and the druid animal deck from my beautiful Nana, She was a Pisces and though she has passed, Going on to 9 years now i am so grateful to have these cards, I’m so glad i can share a love for them with someone too

Is it a great deck as a standalone?

I have had mine since the early '90s, and I love them, with a couple of serious reservations I wasn't aware of when I began using them. Primarily, these cards were not created by indigenous people, so there's the fraught issue of cultural appropriation. Secondly, the many, many different indigenous cultures often have very different interpretations, relationships, understandings and wisdoms associated with each of the animals, and this collection is a bit of a random mish mash of those different beliefs, without ever mentioning that. So, they can be very misleading, depending on who picks them up. I imagine they are either humorous or offensive to indigenous people sensitive to people of colonizer ancestry marketing sacred indigenous teachings. I am careful what I ask and to whom I offer thanks when I use these. And I regularly contribute to groups that provide aid, clean water, and services to tribal cultures near me. Some effort to bring balance to the equation is required in this unique case, I believe. Just some thoughts, since you asked. 🙏🏻

CBR has a class to go with the deck. Mine has been ordered. I plan to take the class to best understand how to use the cards! She does like to leave much for us to discover as we work with her decks. Now I understand why some have used color coded markers for each of the 7 energies. Yes, they are tea leaves in the cup from her father's lineage. My take is that this card is referring to the use of oracles on general. I learned how to read Oracle cards from her & they are not to be used strictly intuitively. She definitely wants us to read the Guidebooks!

I've just caved and ordered this deck today! I've had animal decks come so close but I think I've been looking for art and a guidebook that gives me a lot of information. Did you ever add your own animals to the spares? I think I will be adding my own. I am curious what they say about the spares and how to work with them.
