This was so much fun. We must have taken the same cruise!?!? Did you do that all day one with snorkeling and camping with sea lions? Pretty sure we went in 2010. Our guide spoke primarily Spanish, and I couldn't make out what he was saying over the sounds. Would love to learned more. Natural formation?

This video does not do justice to this camp ground! It's even prettier in person!! I've stayed there numerous times and have loved every trip.

Why is there a coach on the field?? 9 year olds are AA in Little League, a few get to play up to AAA but not many. This looks like AA ball though. Little League doesn't allow coaches on the field A and higher.

We we're there not too long after this video was taken. We watched it rise and watched them open the gates more up at the dam. It's unimaginable that this much water can flow without running out. We're anxiously awaiting our trip here on June 1 weekend again. Love your videos. they keep us in touch with our favorite spot.

Hi. Where in Port Aransas is this exactly? I like to fish in nice clean areas like this. Is this close to where the ferry dock is?

1000 cfs is nothing. 1700 isn't even very much. It gets boring pretty quickly. 5000 cfs does look quite dangerous. I think somewhere around 3000 is the sweet spot for tubing. Less if you're trying to chill and have a lot of snacks and beverages. I floated a local river here in WA state last year that was going at 1700 cfs. It was entertaining, but some points were boring or irritating when the river opened up and where it got too shallow.
