Q400 | CAT II ILS RWY 11 | CYYT
Just a quick impromptu video captured on my iphone, so sorry if it's crap.
This was the final stages of a CAT II ILS in to St. John's, Newfoundland. The weather was near minimums.

Short video of us departing from Prince Albert northbound to La Ronge, Saskatchewan on scheduled flight. I hope to soon add more cameras to cover different angles and make the videos more entertaining to watch!

My niece was feeling like a little comedian while having some dinner!
strange ass marshalling signals lmao

Awesome!
Cool paint job!
Thank you for sharing this.
Pésimo video no se apresia.bien
I have a question, what kind of job do you get to fly older smaller airliners. Just like this one, or others.
Glad I fly one with a G1000 and not an efis.
What does the low pitch button switch do?
Nice job crew
nice
Love all those steam gauges!
2:50 1810 ‘ left and cross checked ?
yeah it was an altimeter check. that was the call. the “set” part was cut out for some reason.
Thought the windshield wipers were left vertical?
That was freaking sick
Flew this back in the day with the commuters, what a great aircraft!
Does This bird has a ahrs system to the navdata inertial system? Cause i couldnot see any adir algnments
Yeah it does. My trick was always to have the power on and align the AHRS while on the GPU. And right before the start shut them down. So after the starts when I turned them all on again, they’d essentially be aligned.
@@FlyZRG you good pilot broh
Wonderful blend of both steam gauges and electronic displays
Those old steam gauge turbo props were fun airplanes to fly!
My first gig as captain and check pilot on the 1900. Back when pilots were pilots! 2020 make pilots great again 🤣
#MakePilotsGreatAgain. xD
the huuuuge version of the king airs lol
I guess. My 350 is only a couple thousand pounds lighter.
@@Bartonovich52 1900 is still about 10 feet longer, but yeah I see what youre saying
Muy oscuro el video, casi no se pudo ver nada.
Cool one
Great video, I have a question, in what moment do you turn on the inverters? I think I saw them turned on for pre start checks, do you let them in this position for the start procedure?.
Honestly it has been about 4 years since flying the 1900, I do not remember well. So maybe someone can correct me, but I believe in the D model I left the AC bus switches on (these switches powered the inverters), and powered the avionics until I was ready to start (made the AHRS initialization quicker), and then shut off just the 4 avionics switches, prior to starting.
@@FlyZRG Ok, I can see the inverters are used for Avionics (radios/gps/ehsi/etc) prior eng start and itselft checks (ON OFF TRANSFER) after eng start. Usually the inv checks is done before gen ties checks. I have read many docs about it.. ..Flight Safety/POH/etc.. ...love the 1900D... ...and C. Thank you
Oh man, I miss flying the mighty Beech 1900. Have almost 4,000 hours in that thing. 15 years later, and the CRJ, A320 and now Boeing 787 under my belt, but the most enjoyable flying I have done was in the 1900. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to re-live some fun times!
sounds like a blast. i just got my CPL+IR and the 1900 and Twin Otter are at the top of my list for planes to fly
Wow, 1900s & Otters👌🏾
A real aircraft that takes real skill to fly, no computers flying this thing.
Sounds like you don’t have a clue.
I am working on a roadable seaplane that can carry 19 passengers and 1 pilot as full scale, with sizes down to 1/2 scale. Land on road, drive down road. Folds to 8.5 feet wide by 9 feet high. 7 props, 6 forward and 1 back with two motors. NOT electric. About 1/3 fuel flow than turbines. Has wheel drive which functions as compressor group in flight, so no weight penalty. Lands with power on at 30 mph, power off 60 mph. Max cruise 300 mph at 12k feet. Costs will be 20 cents/mile per passenger, or similar to airliners, but faster and door to door. Smaller 90% to 50% scales can fit in garage. This 1900D will be totally obsolete. This paradigm will soon be over. No need for airport. Use road. The entire system will change big time... Run it on fuel made from nuclear power....
Are u high
@@guardpolice3913 No, just sober on what the future of aviation will be. see me at twitter.com/seaplaneguy and newenginetype.com
Did the controller say "contact Winnipeg center"?
you betcha
Oohh very cold in Canada por that black
Wow, that is an amazing video, thanks for sharing! Liked and subscribed!
How about a Nobel prize for the guy who invented noise cancellation.
I want to know , " Supplier of Environmental control system of Beechcraft 1900D" And " Cabin pressure control system of Beechcraft 1900D" with location
Great Vid! Wrapping up my CPL at YQR, next stop multi-IFR hoping to end up at Stoney Rapids in a 1900 in 2020.
Just got my CPL with a group 1 IFR. Hoping to land a gig on one of these with my impressive TT of 213 hours lol
Hi, where are you flying at these days?
Mr.X also curious
hey did you make it to the 1900?
@@thisisurcaptain was flying piper out of downtown Toronto. Been laid off since March. Got about 500 tt. Loved it while it lasted
cool man. good job making progress. i have 383 tt looking for my first flying gig.
beats the hell out of the 99 I flew for bearsikin. Flying the 777 now for nearly 11 years, but I'd love to go back to flying beech turborprops, or the PC12.
What an airplane the 777 is though. As a pax I'm always amazed at the enormous engines. Fantastic engineering. The twin king! 300ER my fav.
Most excellent. This is going up on my Twitter page @beech1900dotcom . Thanks!
No GPS or FMC?
ゆうた Old school buddy.
Looks like a sim using TrackIR
Look at all of those steam gauges. And that is just for two engines.
Do passengers get headsets...damn this seems that it is a load plane to fly in if you are a passenger.
Terrible video. No commentary as tp what the pilot is doing on engine start is worthless. Are we just supposed to be impressed with the pilot flipping dials and switches?
Did you expect a type rating from an 11 minute long video ? Lol the entitlement of some folks online
wow this xplane 11 looks soooo real! im buying one on steam right now! woohoooo
Good laughs. :-)
nice but i would rather fly a metro liner, and thx 4 posting !
well done!..weather looks intense just before minimum.
Hello my friend, I hope you are ok, Are you keeping flying B1900 in this moments? how was yor experiencie in canada, I would like to send my CV, I have more than one thounsand hours in this equipment, my respetcs. Carlos Medina
I meant properly!!!
This type of camera viewing really sucks. You can not pay attention to anything. You don't see anything property. Go back to basics.
Hardly any play by play narration. Video did not capture dynamic range.
You have some good vids.. Except.. Can't see out at all which is really irritating
Great vid. Keep them coming!!
