In God's Hands Trailer
Michael Sheerin uses his art to express his inner thoughts and feelings. He constantly has a pen in hand as he journeys from rural Ireland to all over the world and eventually back home again.
His brilliant drawings have always been an expression of the unique world he inhabits and, as he gets sick, they become biographical fragments of the world he will soon leave behind.

Alanna
Переглядів 792 роки тому
Alanna was born with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Her dad Keith started running with her in order to bring her some comfort. At first they ran short races and eventually they moved to marathon distance. They became familiar faces on the running circuit, cheered on by all who knew their story. It is not just a running story but one of hope, memories, and ultimately love.

Eoin Keith Ultra Runner
Переглядів 2193 роки тому
On April 29 2017 Ultra Runner Eoin Keith attempted to break the fastest time record of running the length of Ireland. He would start in Mizen Head (Cork) and run all the way to the very top of the country (Malin Head, Donegal). This journey would take in 555km of Irish road and soil. Fighting sleep deprivation, tired limbs, and a daunting record, he would have to run the perfect race. This is h...
This is the best scene in the film. It gives insight into Combo’s character, and shows his emotional immaturity, which is one of the reasons he’s racist. It’s also why he relates to Shaun, as he was probably also a disenfranchised kid who was led astray by poor role models.
Shes vital in his recovery She helps him become the person he was born to be
I didnt see this on 86, 88?? Whats it on
Stephen Graham is one UNBELIEVABLE actor.
Lol did a great job of hating his guts and having no respect for him ❤
She break his heart..., i can understand him worst feeling ever, feels like you dead inside for ever
Stephen Graham as Combo would be my #1 pick for BEST ACTING PERFORMANCE in a movie that somehow never got its due recognition! Also his other roles are always meticulous and impressively professional always too. Much like Tom Hardy as Charlie Bronson, a masterful talent.
what sound does a helicopter make? me: 2:40
“Simon says make a helicopter noise” “Make a window clean noise”
Heavy weight actors 👏
She was his to adore, he was hers to regret. Thats a classic greek tragedy
When he flutters his lips trynna hold back the tears, just wow. I don't even know how to possibly act that, he must've had his actual nan die right before they filmed this. Weird niche but that's the best crying I've ever seen acted
Compare him crying in later scenes when he's really softened and you can see the sheer development and change in combo it's magnificent acting from Graham
You can tell this isn't Lol's first time telling Combo this, she's probably been through it a few times with him. And this is the final time she's got to say it, you can tell she's not wanting to cruel but Combo just isn't getting the idea. She's loved up with Woody. Stephen Graham's acting in this scene is amazing. Vicky McClure looks so young, she's great too.
She played a very believable bitch that's for sure
He could have given her a lift to work Also,I know his pain. There's no worst pain than getting rejected by true love or not having what ya want the most in life Top film by a top cast Stephen and Vicky are the best
Combo is a real man while Woody is a pussy , she choose the wrong guy , in real life she would had chosen Combo
Who is she
Stephen Graham's performance in this movie is probably my favourite performance of all time
1:32 even the voice crack... this guys acting is just on another level! 👍
Lol is hot as a suede!
Stephen Graham... a Masterclass Actor. This man is just brilliant in every film and TV show.
He was 32 at this time right? Take three years off for the time served and he was 28 when they had the affair. Lol was 16. What the fuck 😂😂 I couldn't handle this
Yea, really suss. Although I think it was a lot more common and had a lot less of a stigma attached to it back in the day. If you look at census records or marriage certificates from before and just after the war there were a lot of families where the dad was significantly older than the mum.
Looking back, Lol fucked everybody EXCEPT Shaun haha
Exactly! She caused so many problems - but doesn't face retribution
@@fingerscrossed2453she was messed up from child abuse
I used to have a haircut like lols, sans sidey bits. About 91 and I must have been About a 14 or 15 year old...boy. strange days.
This movie and the following series, are the only things I've ever watched in my life where I genuinely forget it's not real. One or two scenes with not quite on par acting, and a bit of squirrely writing were the only things in the way of complete immersion. Nothing else has been on TV like it since.
Ahahahaha should have made a better box soppy mug
Bit harsh😂😂
One of the best actors in the uk by fat
2:36 never has a moment existed in British cinema that so perfectly summarizes the pain of unrequited love. There is a man who is truly, deeply in love.
"A person doesnt know true hurt and suffering until theyve felt the pain of loving someone whose affections lie elsewhere"
Not really. If he loved her on a deep, profound, unconditional level, he'd be content to see her happy and safe and cared for by Woody.
@@pendafen7405 Love ain't that straightforward. It's the maturity and experience that determines the reaction. The pain remains the same.
@@ProsecutorZekrom what you're describing is limerent obsession, that's dangerous for all parties but especially the object (usually a woman, lbr). It's concerning but unsurprising that you refuse to see the difference.
@@pendafen7405 Call it what you will, they're all branches of the same tree. Human emotions can be both beautifully warm and terrifying destructive.
The love you line was improvised too.
She is so cute
Y did i read laugh out loud combo..i thought it was an out take...durrr..its lol an combo..😅😂
Best actor out there ,
Makes me happy that Lol didn't turn me down. Sorry Stephen.
Absolutely anyone who thinks its a good idea to get a spider web like combos on either their neck or face are just a complete shower of utterly retarded spunkball sillybilly willywankers ,thing is most the men who get it done always want to try and give off the hardman type of personna ,they seek attention badly its always "Hey look at my face tatoo man im mad, better stay outta my way" when the reality and true matter of fact is that a lot of them are just wanna be's 'Giving It Large' as they say , not hardmen just a shower of fingerbanging Arsebandit Walter Mitty types , who spend more time thinking about looking the part ,than they do actually being the part ...ive seen more decomposing dog turds that have made more useful contribution to the world than some not all but some of the skinhead gangs and their little agendas !
Bloody hell who hurt you 😂 you got some trauma from a tatted individual or something? You should take a chill pill and let people express themselves however they see fit
We've all been there, confessing your love and it not coming back. Bad times
Flawless performance as always. These 2 are definitely my favourite actor and actress from Britain. I live in Canada but we are able to get Brit box on our Amazon prime and I’ve had the privilege of seeing McClure and Graham in other tv shows. They are loyal to their characters and always have strong, complex roles. Lols story touched me in later episodes due to the sexual abuse and combo was just trying to protect her. You wonder if he had gone through this himself (haven’t seen all of 88 or 90 yet… no spoilers 😂)
Acting is the skill of convincing the audience that what they are seeing is real and the characters are real also...Stephen Graham does this seamlessly through This is England and the subsequent series that follow, grossly under appreciated and in my opinion one of the very best at his craft ever.
All this time I thought she had a hat on
This made me laugh and sad at the same time. Sad that most people can relate to the realism that both are portraying here. I also laugh when Combo reacted how he did. It's good to laugh at bullies, when they themselves see who they are and their worth. It's a good lesson for everyone.. Laugh and loathe at Combo.. Never become him. This scene cemented the fact that he truly was a nasty man. Bullies have small minds and only feel that what they do or say is important. She was never going to appreciate him. We already knew that by following her her character in the series. Not one person in the series actually liked him. Fantastic writing in this series, back up by very strong acting.. Especially Stephen Graham.
All true, but the later seasons cast a very different light on this story.
Not true, as Combo was actually good to LoL all throughout their teenage and adult lives. Always gentle and there to protect her. That is not what you call a nasty man or a bully.
@@JynxedKoma yep you’re right, not to mention he felt horrible for what he did to Milky immediately after beating him near to death, he wept over his body repeating that he was sorry and didn’t mean it (poor excuse to viciously attack someone, but my point is he felt genuine remorse for it) and took him to the hospital and then left town because of the guilt, and years later when he returns and then goes to prison for Lol and changes his life around to become a better person and then wants to seek forgiveness from Milky, to me this is not the actions of a nasty or vile man but deep down a good man who is damaged and has good intentions, even his racism was a facade, he didn’t genuinely believe in it as shown when he first tried to buy weed from Milky and then bonded with him and said they are now brothers for life, but his abusive past and jealousy resurfaced when speaking about how good Milky had it in life and he tries to mask it as racism when it was just jealousy, I mean after he beats him and Banjo says “i want some of this, we want our bit” referring to beating milky, Combo immediately glasses and beats him which speaks for itself
@@RyanRFC 100% Couldn't have said it better.
They should show this scene on day one in acting school...stunning.
This scene is just amazing explains everything
Are they supposed to be the same age?
Truly the greatest actor to come out of England
Such an incredible performance from Stephen Graham. His range is truly boundless.
Mad that a few years before he played Tommy in Snatch....
2:39 when you don't leave your food to stand for 1 minute straight out of the microwave.
Lmao
Quality banter
GREAT ACTING from stephen graham, i've been through this before trying to get back an ex and i'm telling you his acting is SPON ON!
I can feel his hurt; and completely understand the rage that stems from it .
She was so gorgeous back then
Idk what ur on look at her hair mate
the good always act from love, the damned always act from love
acting aside this is masterful directing
