Wi-Fi Performance Impact Due To A Fan

Why should we turn off fans before conducting a Wi-Fi performance test ? Wi-Fi is not really designed to handle high mobility wireless channels. I show a live demo of a throughput test showing the impact that a 20 inch Amazon basics industrial fan (a.co/d/2V0wNCz) causes. I also provide a detailed explanation on what exactly is going on in the PHY layer which leads to a performance impact.

This is an introduction to Wi-Fi sniffer trace analysis. I've highlighted some important points on what sniffers can do and cannot do, along with its limitations. I've also shared some tips on filtering desired frames and showing the relevant information as columns in wireshark software.
