WELCOME TO MY CHAOTIC GARDEN. My flower blog. I’m not a master gardener, but, would love to share my experiences with HYDRANGEAS AND OTHER PLANTS. ENJOY CLOSED RANGE VIDEOS OF AMAZING FLOWERS. SHARING MY SIMPLE GARDEN TO YOU AND MORE. (I’m living the story where noone else can live, it's my own unique life.) I love all of my subscribers and the good commenters!

My nirvana, south facing part of our yard, it’s actually my retreat garden . My project this year. It’s pretty messy there because it’s a trial and area right now like it’s my first time to plant zinnias and dahlias in the ground. Next year, I know better what to do with them how and where to plant them. About 90% of my plants there were planted this year. I’m planning to plant more mophead hydrangeas. I would like that part of our yard where I can enjoy privacy wherein I can eat brunch and do my stuff. Before spring there was almost nothing there except for lilies, 2 peonies and 2 hydrangeas I propagated, 1 hibiscus. I am excited for next year.

This is so gorgeous! I want one or ten! I will look up the info on how and where to plant. I live in the midwest. Illinois to be exact, where we have long spring, summer, and fall seasons. Wish me luck! This is one of my favorite songs too!
Thank you. The picture and video doesn’t do it justice. It really looks like a painting if it gets the perfect amount of sunlight. If it gets too much sun it gets burned.
@@StubbornPinayGardener Thank you for the information. I appreciate that very much. My sister has a very green thumb and she helps me when I don't feel sure of myself with a planting.
Very nice but remove all the grass, it competes with your plants for space and food. They will grow bigger if you mulch and stop the weeds. Nice garden
Thank you for your advice, I agreed, I really wish I can put mulch, I had bad experience with it when I did. It attracts elder bugs and entered our house. I have phobia using it since then. But yes I take the weeds off not as often though, yard is too big for me 😆. Yesterday, I did but geeze still more work to go.

You won’t be sorry. Mine is in tree form, I got lucky when I bought it years ago wasn’t that too expensive. Bought it at meijer.

The mother plant’s color is light pink. They’re both beautiful.

How do you suggest watering them? To avoid this?
Only water the bottom, the roots. Avoid the leaves and don’t water in the afternoon when the sunlight is too much. I am guilty of not doing the right thing, I got busy I just water them anytime whenever I am available and always in a hurry. It will be fine next year, though. It’s not fungus it’s burnt.

@@jamee_maree guess what that was my first time. Now I learned based on experience zinnias so easy to plant from seeds. No need for this winter sowing. All you have to do is spread it as soon as it warms up. Cover the top of soil and water that’s it after few days there will be new growth. Direct sowing is better.

Zone 6a here also so I’m binging your channel lol. How do these do for you in late fall/winter?
Yearly I plant tubers in containers,but, last year I decided to over winter it indoor. I put in our unheated backroom. I didn’t clean the tubers or anything. It stays in the container. And I’m surprised came back. I will post video tomorrow. Lots of blooms today upon checking. I’m too lazy to dig them up clean the tubers, I have no patience. 😂

How old are they? How tall and wide do they get?
It’s more than 5ft tall right now but it’s mature height can be 8ft . I think it’s about 3 to 4 years old. It can spread to 6ft.
