There are 2 variants of this laptop: Crosshair 16 HX D14VFKG with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 and Crosshair 16 HX D14VGKG with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Both models share the exact same case keyboard rgb and specs , the only thing that differs is the GPU. @@MananAMMit has a cameras privacy shutter if that’s what you’re referring to. I showed this in the first minute of my review if you want to have a look
@@nonbiasedreviews4027 I did a little digging and yes it has it, but dude you should post a video about benchmarks of this laptop like geekbench, cinebench 2023 & 2024 and other stuff. And try testing this laptop on different games with MSI afterburner which will give us the data about CPU & GPU temps, wattage, clock speed, etc and one more thing what's the colour gamut of the display and how many nits of brightness does it have. Thanks that's all.

Good review, not bad as a beginner but lemme tell you this watch some videos on UA-cam about how to test a gaming laptop or something like that, and try different games and also install MSI afterburner. so that viewers can see the clock speeds, CPU & GPU temps and how much watts they're pulling. Can you also check it's brightness (how many nits) and colour gamut, i know MSI claims 100% DCI P3 colour gamut but it's exaggerated.
No it has 6 exhaust. 2 up.. U skipped them
Good point. It is advertised as having 6 exhausts, but in reality it has only 4. The ones at the back have only 3 small holes at the top to divert some of the air, but they are the same vents. 2 fans and 4 vents 😊

Nice review, i herd msi is preloaded with a load of bloatware, so try getting rid of the bloatware maybe fps will increase
It's not bro just 1-2 apps were there I have the same laptop

For 2k gaming is 4060 enough or should I go for 4070 instead?
If possible go for 4070 as it has slightly more power, about 17% more. It won’t be a huge difference but you’ll get some extra fps if that is what you’re looking for. Everything else is exactly the same
i was thinking of buying this laptop i was thinking of getting the 4070 version how does it handle big games like rdr2
I have played only Fortnite and World of Tanks and it works well on both
let me know how it performs like after a few weeks ill probably wait for a good deal on black friday
@@nonbiasedreviews4027for Fortnite how many frames per second were you getting with all settings on low and maximum performance?
@ with everything on max including ray tracing you get about 40-50fps and its not playable at all. If you lower the quality but still keep texture on epic and some settings on high you will get around 170fps. I assume if you lower to minimum then you get over 200fps

One hell of a beast laptop
Hi there, I'd be very interested to hear how you are getting on and what your opinion is now? Looks like you are UK based? I spent a long time debating whether to purchase or not, a lot online about hinge issues, but saw that today Very had it still on offer at £899 but COMPUTING10 took it down to £809, so decided to take the gamble. Went through TCB too, so it should pretty much be 800 on the nose. My first gaming laptop, so quite excited 😘
Hi there, unfortunately I haven’t got the time to do a review yet. But I can tell you that I am very happy with this purchase. I use it for school and for gaming and it is absolutely perfect. it has built in msi software that allows me to disable the graphics card and use the onboard one to extend the battery life. I hope I will have the time too review it soon. Meanwhile feel free to ask me anything
@@nonbiasedreviews4027 that's interesting you can switch to onboard graphics for day to day use, and better battery life, very useful tip, I'll have to see if I can find that option. Due to arrive next week I think. I'll keep checking back, and have subscribed 👍

I am working on the review, but I can tell you straight away, the battery will probably last between 3-5 hours if you are on energy saving and doing web browsing and light tasks
