This is the best remake of the story. Puppets have a creepy nature in themselves, so. The Three Brothers story, to me, sounds like a horror tale. I've seen people make death as a funny or calm being, but I really think it needs to be a more quiet and eerie presence that sends chills up your spine and is nearly unbearable to be around.
