Overguard is generated just by hiting them, secondary fortifier also deals increased damage to overguard.

Interestingly, magus cloud is for taking out void tether things and getting infinite void dashes when enemies are stacked instead of running Magus melt for the extra damage. 📝

Secondary Fortifier

[Secondary fortifier] you equip it on a pistol and when you damage any enemy over a certain amount of their overboard, you're given 100 back. So when this is combined with a build that just THROWS damage everywhere, it gives you overguard quick!

They gave her a slight rework EV doesn't work like that anymore.

Now ev has to go thru overguard first,since it counts as a 2nd health bar, procing with 10x magnetic might help

His 2 gives us a huge damage boost, so i don´t think it is a good idea to replace that
