@C4Explore hahahahaha yea it sure is I thought it was a good place to use it lol
Beautiful hike man, we had our snow blast last night...only about 3 inches though. Thanks for sharing, hope you and the dogs are good! 👍😁❄️
@C4Explore yea, we are all good bro thanks
Nice. We got another dusting of snow where I am last night.
The portal entrance is down at the bottom of the hill to the right of the lower station of the incline it's located about 100 feet down the path from station and if you look out it's right across from the stadium the other entrance to the mine is the Millcreek portal.
@josephbennett3482 yea I figured it out that I was at the wrong one plus I had some people tell me but it was still a nice hike and cool to see this one, also if I remember right I was gonna keep going but I think the trail was closed because of working going on but I'll go back when I can
@thepawanderer the mine is pretty big , it runs almost the entire length of the city under Westmont it runs in through the hill under the cemetery and if you drive down Franklin Street going towards our hospital there's a portal of some sort located across the street from the red building that sits on the left as you are going to the hospital , this spot i think is the Millcreek portal but I'm not sure because i don't know the layout of that mine i just live nearby and it has always frightened me that there is an abandoned mine there and recently there's been trouble brewing with that mine so be careful if you ever come back here and visit it again the crappy weather has been causing landslides and causing the mine to flood Franklin Street.
@josephbennett3482 o cool now I definitely want to go back and check it out and find the portal by the hospital that's cool. I'm sure there is things hidden all through them mountains
@josephbennett3482 o definitely I don't plan on going in lol I just want to check it out I was born in johnstown but lived I think everywhere in pa I think I moved a lot 😅 but there is things I never new about in jtown because before I had a channel I never really cared about anything but partying in my yung days kinda wasted my life with stupidly
@thepawanderer the portal im talking about is located across from 901 Franklin Street , i don't know exactly what the spot was used for but i think it was just ventilation ducts although it might have been coal shuts too where works would shuttle coal from there through the city streets down to the steel mill.
if people only knew how u treated people in ur family hhaha u wouldn't have 1 like ur name should be THE PA TRESPASSER !!!!!!
❤❤❤❤

@thepawanderer happy birthday benjamin
What a long, soggy slog. I'm quite familiar with the old Fulton tunnel, which my Dad said he once got stuck in with his brother while a train was going through, and lived to tell the story. BTW, I once slaved in a hardwood mill right up the road from there. & FYI, according to a Right of Way/ Track Map from 1917 in my possession, of the Beech Creek Extension/ New York Central Railroad, the portals of what you keep calling a "long" tunnel in the video are actually 2,707 feet apart, which makes it well more than a HALF a MILE "LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG !!!!!!!!! Thanks for the UA-cam trip, but NO THANKS for the real deal !
