I'm late to the party but this pmv is so powerful. Like what others said Ivypool can't ever see her daughter again, and lost her to the place Ivypool tried so hard to defeat. I hope in Ivypool's SE we see Fernsong's grief too because he lost a daughter too! Plus Ivypool would need the support of her kin after losing a kit. She's such a strong cat but even strong individuals need support sometimes. I agree with your opinion in the desciption as well; the most powerful thing about Briarlight's death (imo) was how Jayfeather broke down for I think the first time in the series- that we know about- to the point he couldn't even talk. I must be a fictional sadist because I love when writers/animators/etc can so perfectly capture grief. BTW I love your Bristlefrost design, so pretty <3
Thank you! And yeah I hope her Super Edition does her justice. A lot of the SEs have been disappointing lately so I’m kind of scared to see what they might do to her as she’s one of my favorites. It’s really just devastating to lose your close family to something you ran away from for the majority of your life and that concept as a whole is underrated in the community
