Starting dwarf jade bonsai from a cutting
What species of portulacaria afra is this? We have so many times of different portulacaria afra but I don’t know which one is the correct one for bonsai
👌💐
I think you should leave the height, build thos pads all the way up and it will have some real interest to it. Very cool that you were able to get such a big, interesting tree from just letting it be for 2 years.
Do we get to see a video of you making that one into a bonsai?
Charming video and beautiful trees.
I've just started my bonsai journey. I'm trying 2 Chinese Privet plants. This year is for growth. Maybe next season I will begin pruning and wiring.
Excellent 👌
Excellent
How about those nice hair, how can i get them.😊
Incredible!
A jade plant is no a bonsai
How do I start my first one I am obsessed with
Came for the plants stayed for the hair cut and beard. Do u bonsai that hair? Impressive ❤
Use a white price of paper to show potential cuts
Awesome nebari on that monster! How long have you been working on this one? You said it's 20 years old, but have you been working it this whole time?
Yep, I planted it from a cutting 20 years ago!
@@zanestrees Do you have any videos showing how to develop the nebari on afra varieties?
Wow that is amazing. Superb job. Everything expected for a bonsai ❤
Great work!
Thanks!
Beautiful Elephant Bush
Thanks!
You should try doing this do a variegated shefflera it would be beautiful ❤ Not that the other trees aren't, it would just be a lil different

Im just in the process of revamping my entire yard. Thank you so much for rhis info
Poor pot! 😔 you could have cut the roots and saved the pot
It was already broken so I just helped it along
@@zanestrees Oh, too bad it was already broken
Do you sell trees also?
cut off the bottom 2 branches
I eventually did but left them on for options just in case. I’ll post the updated video soon

I haven’t worked a serissa but it’s on my list!
Thank You✌🏻
You should ask yourself why you just ruined the perfect tree?
Cool pot/ tree combo 😎
Thanks!
2 dollar plant 400 dollar bonsai. Unlike people, they are always worth more when life gets them twisted.
satisfying 🫠
Qué belleza!!!❤❤❤
Could I bonsai a tomato plant?
Hey Zane, great video! Thanks for posting this, it’s always fun to see someone else mess with ports. Your other trees tell me you’re doing a great job styling; I’d love a an in-depth video covering your styling process (wire vs clip’n’grow, how long you let trees grow out before styling, etc). Whether or not that happens, this was a very enjoyable vid & I appreciate your post. Cheers!
There's no way that 'small cutting' is 2 years old, I just dont believe it thats mental growth for 2 years
Mi sueño!!❤❤❤❤
Can you guide me what kind of soil and what fertilizers should be used for a healthy jade plant.I belong to the coastal city of Karachi, Pakistan.
Bro that’s not a bonsai . Stop using hashtags to boost your engagement it makes you look like a scumbag
👌
👌💐
Went on vacation and came back to a crispy leaved Chinese elm. First bonsai, now I know I needed a babysitter. I made a complete hard cut and now have a lovely stick in a beautiful pot 🤦🏼♀️ I don't believe it's dead as the very ends where I cut showed some green. Does it have any hope?
Luar biasa❤❤❤
They all look amazing! Very well done. An odd question, do you have any experience growing bonsai in self watering pots?
beautiful
love ur art
Oh the dream.
I'm not judging but you might need to back off on the coffee a little!😂
I’m f I was younger I WOULD LOVE TO GROW BONSAI TREES!!!! Still I’m on it maybe I’ll pass then on when I’m gone❤
What plant is it
I think there's no better way to be remembered than by passing down plants to your kids grandkids and relatives. That is a gorgeous bonsai. It reminds me of a Boabab tree a little. ❤
