@@pastoredwardbouffard284 Forget about all that biblical stuff, I was rudely introduced to Christianity and Jesus when at my job I was backed over by a pick up and when I wasn't injured enough my christian bosses prayed to their Jesus for at least paralysis to set in, you see, Jesus is Tony Soprano. I will be hateful for ever and that's OK just so the world knows forgiveness isn't on the menu

Greetings. A quick comment followed by a question if I may. Pastor Ed said around the 28:25 mark of the video that Jesus did not receive a sinful nature because He was not conceived by Joseph but by the Holy Spirit. Very true. But what about Mary? Jesus received His human nature from her.The blood coursing through his veins He received from her. His flesh and bone He also received from her.Jesus is one person with two natures,A human nature and a Divine nature. And even though these two natures are contained within the one Person, known as the hypostatic Union,there is no mingling of these two natures. They remain separate and distinct from one another. So the Divine nature of Jesus did not lay hold of His Human nature and subject it to It’s perfection. So that being the case how was Jesus objectively Sinless in His humanity which of course He is? Thank you and God’s blessings be yours
Thank you for your inquiry of which I will attempt to give an answer. Your argument appears convincing but is Biblically unsound. A sinless sacrifice is all the Father is willing to accept. Jesus could not have sin in him nor on him for him to be our all-sufficient Saviour. 1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Jesus had to be made sin for us. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. This took place on his cross. 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Genesis 3:15 says, And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Seed dwells in the man while the egg to be fertilized by the seed dwells in the woman. The seed planted in Mary’s womb by the overshadowing of the Holy Ghost for the Word to become flesh did not originate in Mary but is called “her seed” in Genesis 3:15. Having any sin in him would reject him from becoming mankind’s blood sacrifice. Sin is passed on by the seed of man. Let’s continue our conversation if you would like to.
