    I had the same issue with the trash can. the simplehuman trash can from SAM's club was poorly designed (and probably limited by stupid marketing people limiting and rushing the engineers) - it could not take the stress from repeated steps on the part and it broke. I also might try screws into a wood block on the back side.

    Good video, but I disagree with your predictions and conclusions. DJI doesn't need to police where people fly. Other drone brands do not impose restrictions. Cars don't impose speed restrictions etc, neither should drones.

    • @outdoorswithcam
      @outdoorswithcam 4 дні тому

      To your point why do they make corvettes that will go 200 mph. Certain people want to get rid of drones. Like Amazon and Walmart need recreational drones out of airspace so they can deliver. They will move to only allow drones in frya spaces or what ever they call them...

    • @peterinpensacola
      @peterinpensacola 4 дні тому

      @@outdoorswithcam Not sure why we are allowed to buy 200 mph sports cars! But just about any car can violate speed limits or drive into "no drive zones." You get my point. Flying cameras are less dangerous by comparison and if Autel and Parrot don't impose restrictions, why should DJI? They shouldn't! The FAA regulates our airspace, not a Chinese company. Enough said. To your last point, big corporations will define the future of drone law, hobby photographers like me will have no say. Good conversation.

If you haven't replaced the value you should before it fries your computer. There is no fuse. When the value fails it sends 12 volts to a 5 volt system and burns the tracings on the board. MB550, MB650 and Bridger dogless are my favorite traps. I;ll pass on the Duke 550. They copied The MB even the name. I prefer to buy American not china. All those other dukes are junk. I have had yotes rip the pans off. Bend the dogs. Lots of work to keep them going. Never had a problem with MB550 right out of the box. I use the dukes I bought at rural king when I didn't know any better. The other dukes were bought at field and stream on clearance for $5/each. I bought all of them. Before disassembling your fan examine it. I thought to myself this is absurd, having to disassemble the fan every 3 months to lubricate then re-assemble and reinstall the fan? Wtf? I looked around the body of the fan and saw 2 holes on both ends of the motor body. At first I thought they were screw holes but noticed they were not threaded. I figured they engineered the fan to be lubricated quickly if it called for frequent lubrication. I poured about 8 drops of lubricant (gun oil) and tested it out. It stopped squeeking. Re-installed and its doing fine still. Check to see if your fan has these oiling ports.

So if you hold the spring with a pic you can easily remove the ball from the position!!! Oh yeah and all I did was just open up a can of man and did not remove The ridges because it gives it a better grip. I just put the cable on there and the new holder then pulled it holds like a champ.

    Annie's Danish Dark Peppernuts ~ Very old recipe from Askov, Minnesota: 9-10 cups white flour (2.5lbs) Warm together 3 cups corn syrup or sorghum in a pan, add 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup butter or lard. Melt and mix together. Cool down enough to whisk in 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon soda in 2 TABLESPOONS warm milk. Add to the liquid mixture 1/2 TABLESPOON CLOVES, 1 TABLESPOON GROUND ANISE SEED. Fold in the flour, enough to make a stiff dough that is hard to turn with a wooden spoon. In the old days, they would leave this mixture covered, apparently 2-3 weeks, according to the old recipe. That doesn't sound safe by today's health standards. Chill overnight. Heat oven to 350. Grease pans, roll out into ropes and slice, or criss cross cut 1/2 inch thick square ish. This is a sweeter dough, and browner so be sure and watch that they don't burn. Bake till set and lightly browned. Take out, cool before removing. Keep several pans ready and baking. This recipe make enough for a family or neighborhood. Good for the pockets in wintertime. This is a spicier darker cookie. Also called bullets. For years, our family made these two recipes the day after Thanksgiving for the holiday season.

    Preheat oven to 325F. Two recipes from Nebraska, one light and one dark. Both called 'bullets' as well as peppernuts, neither with pepper! Both with ground anise. Family's ancestry is Danish, Swiss, German, etc. Not Mennonite. Light ones: 5-10 cups white flour. Warm together 1 quart buttermilk, 1 pint cream, and 1 cup lard or butter. Mix in 5 cups white sugar, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 1 TABLESPOON ground ANISE SEED, 1 teaspoon soda, and a couple pinches salt. Then, stir, then fold in, enough flour, while liquids are warm, to make dough consistency of thick donut dough. Roll out on sheet 1/2 inch thick. With floured knife, cut lines, and then across again, so that you are making hundreds of nuggets about the size of a child's thumbnail. Bake in slow oven just until lightly golden brown. Remove and let sit. Keep many pans going as this is a large recipe. Don't store away until totally cool. As they age, the flavor comes stronger. Yes, they are perfect pocket food in the winter time, for shopping, hunting, going to school, out on hikes, everything! Excellent gift!

    I tried the White Hots and got terrible powder fouling. A lot worse than Triple 7 pellets. I experience the least amount of fouling using Triple 7 in powder form.

      I used the triple 7 for years. I found less fouling with white hots Can't explain it. Now I have been told the best then to do is use loose powder and have some stand to side and watch muzzle. You cut back on powder till you don't see any fire residue falling out. Heard about 90 grains. Idea is all powder is consumed in barrel not outside. Loose powder is best. Used to do that with real black powder in my ky long rifle

      Sure is... no issues. That video was how many years ago with crappy $25 action camera. I didn't know what 4K was back then. That video quality sucks. But yes runs great! pull boat with it all summer. Thats why I did this. I had back van down ramp into water and it died. That was like the third time that selector switch has gone out. First time I was 500 miles from home at 30K miles on it. Dealer charged $1200 to replace. Next time was pulling boat at Lake Cumberland 300 miles from home. I switched it back and furth until I could limp home. I had had it with that switch!

    I have just cleaned my car battery on my vehicle. It had a build-up of battery acid on the negative and positive terminals. I went on Amazon and ordered me some Noco Battery Terminal Cleaner, let it set a few minutes, rinse with a little water. Use a battery brush. The car starts even faster. The battery is almost 5 years old, I will give it almost another year and replace it. Awesome Stuff!

      H2SO4 gas is corroding it. An old trick we used to do back in the day with antique cars was to tape a copper penny close to the caps vents. It would attack the soft copper before harder metal.

    If you did any research, you would now come down to bunny boots. Bunny boots. Why are these of the best and the worst. If your feet are sweating, it's your responsibility to let them breathe. You are stupid if you like to let them sweat and walk around with puddles in your boot. The farmer next-door told me you're the biggest idiot if you walk around with water in your boot. Dry out your boot, or turn it over and empty the water.

      The point of the The video is to show the liner. It's open cell foam. Basically a sponge. You can turn it upside down and nothing will come out because sponge absorbed all sweat. Imagine haveing a wet sponge in your boot. My artic Mucks don't hold moisture. I back country camp while hunting. I don't have boot drier in tent. What are bunny boots? never seen them in store

      @@outdoorswithcam bunny boots you can only buy in army surplus stores. If you want to buy them brand new, they're about $1000. They have the same problem at -40°F. But when they're taken to -80°F they work perfect. This is like wearing two wool jackets and a poncho when it's raining at 120°, and you're asking yourself why am I sweating my ass off? Why is the wool getting so wet? But, in the cold, this becomes a dangerous thing. If you are sweating in your boots, your boots are too warm for the climate you're in. Or you're wearing too many socks. Stop wearing socks! Just go, barefoot, the sock is already built into the boot! When I snowmobile and I'm travelling at good speeds and my body is not moving much, nor feet, the boots work just perfect' I guess I'm trying to say a boot that's designed for -40. Shouldn't be used at -10 and a boot that is designed for -80 shouldn't be used at -10. You will sweat, and the sweat will get cold and turned to ice. If I just used big rubber boots and put 12 pairs wool of socks on for -80° and put six pairs of wool socks on for -40° and only two pair of wool socks for -20°, when you consider me a prepping pro?

    Everyone has to find their own method. Rubber is waterproof; so moisture is not evaporating through the boot. If the liner is wet I’d certainly take it out so that it could dry. Pack boots work by keeping dry liners inside a dry boot. That’s why I have several boot driers. I have used hairdryers in a pinch. Over the calf premium wool socks work well for me. It seems foot warmth is obtained with a looser fit to keep blood circulation unrestricted and air circulating. Good luck with your outdoor adventures.

      I use merino wool socks over sock liners. It works great in my Muck boots. But these pack boots have open cell foam that acts as a sponge. Its like have a wet sponge in your boots. If they would have put something over the open cell foam liners to prevent the sweat from being absorbed.

    4.3 L here TKS 2008 and I think I’m just gonna go with the premium gas first and see what that does. Then try the idle then try the timing. I think I can afford to lower my idle by 100 or 150 RPM.

      Check with your manager at the gas station and see how old old the gas is. Sometimes the premium tank tank is stale. I know when I asked my local guy about how old the gas was. He said regular was 2 weeks, Mid range 3 months and the premium was 5 months because nobody was buying it. My issue is we have reformulated gas here. Its the alcohol and either causing the runnon. There is no Rec Gas available anywhere. Premium is the way to go is you can get fresh gas
