Ok, my kick stand fell right off my expedition bike! I was lucky, because the kick stand fell off while on my property. I am 71 and have had plenty of bikes in my life. But neither me, nor my brothers have had a kickstand just fall right off our bikes. Because of the one bolt deal with this kick stand and the shear WEIGHT if this kick stand, I decided to use RED LOCKTITE instead of blue. Plus, I went to all the trouble of finding a 5/16” nut with locking plastic inside the nut. There appears to be enough room on the end of the bolt, to secure the extra nut with locking plastic. I will let the red Locktite cure for 24-hours before I put on the plastic locking nut. Locktite and plastic are not good together! Plus, I am adding two thick tie wraps around the kickstand to help with securing. Plus, I added a side kick stand to have a back up in case my centre kick stand falls off again. Huge safety concerns with that. Lectric immediately sent me up a replacement, although it takes a month to get to my house in Canada.🇨🇦 Customer Service and Lectric Technicians are great. I just got through replacing my control box and am in the process of replacing the whole front brake assembly because of a defective brake sensor. That all being said, I love this bike when it’s running and I ride it extensively each good weather day I get. 😊 Happy Biking!

Ordered this mount for my BMW S1000XR (today). Also purchased some low-profile, waterproof, rubberized/silicone grip tape (stickers) to supplement some additional traction to the base of the mount, since it only has two strips of rubber that will likely be the first to fade with the consistent insertion and removal of the phone. Not to mention, several reviewers stated they lost their phones on this mount, as the rubber on the unit seems to be less effective over time. That said, thanks for posting this review! It helped me feel more confident about today’s purchase. Glad I was able to find this mount to replace the same mount you 1st showed in the beginning of the video.
