@ I support anyone brave enough to post. I play guitar and piano and inherited a drum set with my friend move far away. I couldn’t keep consistency in my beat and my friends who are drummers told me to get a click track and practice against that. They said it’s like a guitarist or piano player practicing their scales with a metronome. I still am not perfect, but I don’t make my friends who are drummers run out of the room anymore.

Awesome! great song choice. I think it would do you well to try and "feel" the part and listen a little more. Videos are great to learn from but in my experience are hard to follow along visually while playing. Try to listen very very closely to each hit, the rhythm repeats itself. But cool! Hit the hi-hat on the and of four rather than right on three. Count in your head "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 1" etc
