Being a sidecar racer from the 80's & 90's i gotta say that the guys that won the race deserved the win, and so do the 2nd place guys. 🙃🙃

That was one hell of a race between you & the one you almost had , i think you may have taken him if not for the backmarkers that he got past but you got stuck behind. Awesome driving by both you & the bike in front which i'm thinking was a BMW but not 100% sure it had kinda strange cylinder configurations & i didn't think it was Moto Guzzi as they also have the same sort of side cylinders but at a V shape . What a great track as well and as an ex Karter in the States i would have loved to run at Cadwell in a Kart. I would ask what that bike was & what you were racing ? Very impressive you did catch up to him but time ran out.

Wish we had more interest in both vintage & FIM sidecars here in the States , I've been a fan since i was kid & saw them on the old Wide World of Sports back in the late 60s. Been an Enduro or Laydowns Karter for 15 years before i gave it up & the racing here & when the Karts come to Cadwell is alway a total blast. I would have loved the chance to run this course . We ran many places in the States like Charlotte Motor Speedway , Road America , VIR, Road Atlanta Daytona &, some others but our club The Woodbridge Kart Club has it's home track as Summit Point Raceway which is a 2.1 mile road course similar to Cadwell . Great stuff & you have to have great respect for the guys that ride the vintage bikes as they have steel balls for sure. Great stuff & thanks for sharing .

Great race & it's how you deal with backmarkers at the end that can make a big difference in staying or passing the guy in front , these guys just got caught up at a bad time which definitely cost them any chance of getting around the BMW team. Awesome sport in the old days & still is now but these old race bikes & very little for the side car monkey sure can't compare with todays sidecar rigs. Along with Karting this is the best kept secret in road racing motorsports. Such a great track for both.

Good action, we watched these races yesterday from the main straight up by the hairpin, very nice days racing, the scooters provided some great racing along with the others.

Lovely, measured racing, bravo! Didn't realise that things like the Morgan 3-wheel were allowed to enter into the same events as sidecars. I know nothing at all about this kind of racing (I like 4 wheels) but would be interested to know if there is any conflict over that; in my mind I imagine that it is more compliant than a sidecar having the two front wheels level. Is this the case or are people just happy to see such a beautiful vehicle running?

Nicely done, incredible to watch, have to ask though, what happened here 3:55? Looked a bit scary, did he unweight and unintentionally come left?

Was this a game of Follow the Leader? It was not very quick, you had several opportunities to pass. But instead you held back. I thought it was supposed to be a race.
