The Girl Returned Home for Tet and Was Shocked by the Overgrown Yard: We Volunteered to Help
This is the story of Ms. Linh, my mom's friend, who is 46 years old this year. Two years ago, after her family faced a major setback, Ms. Linh had to leave her hometown to work as a factory worker in an industrial zone.
This year, she returned home for Tet but was shocked to find her house completely overrun with wild grass and weeds. She was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. After contacting my mom, we decided to volunteer to help her clean up and restore her home, so she could welcome the New Year in a clean and cozy space.
A small act but a meaningful gesture - we hope this story will spread the spirit of kindness and support in the community.
