Fantastic sermon. I loved hearing all that background info. This is all what I thought scripture was saying. Now, how do we ascertain the difference between the voice of the Holy Sprit in our lives and our own internal wants and desires? “Can it be backed up with scripture?” Yes, but scripture can be twisted. For instance there is solid scripture backing up the idea that we all should have merely inserted the government during COVID lockdowns AND I find solid scripture that says sometimes it’s time to break the law. How do you know when the Holy Spirit is commanding it and when it’s your own self-righteousness rising up inside? “Abide in Him and He will abide in you.” Closer and closer, just keep striving to be as close to Him as you can so you recognize His voice? Is that all there is to it? “Seek ye first . . . And everything else will be added . . . keep your eyes on things above . . . “?

Oneday many years ago my 2 kids came home from school sick...they had high fevers and was throwing up...I gave them some medicine and I laid down with them...I began to cry out to Jesus and pray for them... with tears was running down my face...I closed eyes and I had a vision of Jesus weeping and he said that's what he does for us...he goes to the father weeping for us just like I was doing for my kids... my kids felt better shortly after...thank you Jesus for loving us ❣️
