This first episode definitely had me shook!!

Yeah, a lot of new questions this episode ) The whole dialog with Acerola is confusing, didn't really understood the part about food chains and endangered species.. I remember from somewhere that Deathtopia is probably purebred vampire, she wasn't converted from human, and this is why she is endangered species?.. 600 years has past, there is probably not a lot of purebred vampires now. Good point, I forgot about Shinobu regaining full power. Yes, she should, and this is what alerted Gaen probably. And judging by the Shinobu and Hachikuji's behaviour, they couldn't use Yumewatari by themselves, so they needed Gaen. Author wants us to solve another cipher ) Well.. I see reversed digits - 82-28, 61-16, but zero is not reversing. 61 is a prime number, and it's 18th of them. 18th letter is R. Maybe victim's initials have some connection? K and M are 11th and 13th letters... 13 doubled is 26, not 28... I don't see connections. It's probably once again something easy, but it could be anything, that's the thing with ciphers ) By the way, purebreed vampires are like prime numbers, they are like the source for everything else... Thank you for your reaction to ado. I don't watch TV so I don't know what kind of drama Dr. X is, but this song seems to have a fairly Buddhist theme. I took the opening line of the song to mean, "All humans have monsters inside them that sometimes go wild and cause a storm of emotions to rage, which can be troubling, but these monsters are no different from you - indeed they are you yourself, so rather than trying to suppress/oppress them by force, it's important to find a way to get along with them. That's actually what life is all about." Ashura is the Japanese pronunciation of Asura, the Hindu god of war in ancient India. Asura was later adopted into a certain group of Buddhists, maintaining his original character as a god of war. This group of Buddhism has spread to Japan. Statues of Ashura can be found in several temples in Japan. Buddhism is a religion that aims to achieve peace of mind, so it does not naturally go well with a god of war, but as it is unreasonable and may cause distortion to expect perfect peace of mind to imperfect humans, Asura may have the role of absorbing that aspect of the distortion.

Ahhh, been looking forward to another reaction! Thursdays won't be the same for me for sure without my pookies ;A; Jyanome at the end, that's not a mangaka, but THE mangaka, the series author <3 And I gotta let you know (because when it comes to this story, I'm a *preacher*) that it is not, in fact, the end! You may want to catch up on the mangas because both Jin x Giichi and Rei x Shion had extra chapters in theirs which the series ran out of time to cover. Mao & Hisashi also had a lovely, sensual, funny chapter that was omitted... Otherwise the story continues beyond the anime with two volumes of Long Take, which focuses again on Mao & Hisashi with the other couples in the background. Volume 1 just came out in English a couple of days ago and it's truly wonderful + features some of my favorite scenes in the entire story. It continues to explore both Hisashi's & Mao's insecurities as they navigate their relationship and those new promises they've made to each other. I have basically read both volumes and they are truly wonderful and SO worth it. I hope you give them a read!

I'm anime-only, so probably not a spoiler, just a wild guess... I think it's Ougi who left the cipher. I feel like this song intentionally leaves it up to the viewer to interpret whether it is romantic love or friendship. I think it works either way, whichever you prefer to see it as. While it might be unambiguous in the show this song was used for, it is common for Ado to have an MV that tells an entirely different story with the same song (like with Dignity for example).

I was so excited when I heard this song was the theme song of a GL drama, sadly it was just bait not actual GL :(

I hardly watch TV so I don't know much about it, but it seems that the settings of the drama and the song are quite different. However, I have seen comments saying that the lyrics sometimes match the content of the drama. While I cannot really interprete the lyrics well, I like ado's powerful voice, and in this music video, I like the beautiful use of colors in the pictures, the strong-willed beautiful model girl sitting in a chair looking straight ahead in the later half, and the feeling of a change in mood at the end with the "aaahh" after the "ooh-oh".

It appears that you can speak some Japanese, so I mention a few things. "Rasen(螺旋)" means spiral. For example, "Rasen kaidan(螺旋 階段)" means a spiral staircase. Can you guess what pun on words 'Yakitory' the name of the lyricist/composer would be?
