Ronnie, like me was a Dub4. He grew up on St. Johns Road, just down from the Tower in Sandymount, Me on Strand road, maybe 5 or six houses from the Tower - Number 141. What I do not remember at all is any of us having that Dub 4 accent. I do remember someone assuming that I was English which greatly offended me. I have heard a recording of my Dad (Donagh MacDonagh) on RTE and, by Jesus he had it. A terrible shock to me. You hear your Dad's voice for the first time in over 50 years and have no memory of it.

Love listening to Sean Og. Really miss him on Sunday nights, his results show was the Irish equivalent of the Shipping Forecast.
