Kontakt 3 for kicks Drumazon for percussion Synth1, Nexus and V-Station for soundeffects backgroundsounds Nexus, Steinberg MDA JX16 and Access Virus B ( hardware ) for strings. for FX i use: Waves R6 EQ, Korg MDE-X for Verbs and Delays. OtiumFX BeatCompadre for Kickdrum compression and Waves C1 Compressor. and ofcourse some random distortions and stuff

@BurningHeadz I tried those, but i don't like them much. As you can see are there a lot of freeware vst and fx. also to show that it doesn't have to cost much to create some useable sounds.

@OutrageTerrorTraxx A technique like any other. It's always good to show how the person who does not know, I'm surprised not to see you use Devastor & omicide

@BurningHeadz Well... it's not really a tutorial... it's just to show how i create my basic Kickdrums. After this there comes a bunch of processes that will shape the sound some more and where actual compression and mix begins. I just use the compressor as an effect.

anglaisfrançaisarabe the compressor is always added at the end not before;), as there have unintended saturation know the kick of a recording?, otherwise soundgoodizer professional does not sound you should use something else in the place can be a maximizer or something like it.
