Hi just watched your vid. I had a cancer scare (ovarian) for half of 2017. However I am a Christian and do not fear death so much just the consequences of it on my daughter who is 2. How are you now? It's a great video. You are very strong and it sounds like you have a very supportive family. Hope you feel supported. i remember when my ex started chemo. it was a total change for us both to ensure he didn't get hurt or sick. lots more hand washing, making sure i didn't eat or drink after anyone, taking my temperature regularly to make sure i wasn't sick, etc. it's nothing compared to what he's gone through, or anyone else dealing with it, but it's the little things that you don't normally worry about in day to day life that suddenly becomes a concern. "can i have a drink of your water?" no, no you can't. i also shaved his head the first time. for a while all he could stomach was biscuits and gravy so every day we were at Denny's for dinner. when cuddling to sleep i had to learn to lay a little lower because of his port. it's so many little things.

I WAS GOING THROUGH MY SECOND CANCER TREATMENT WHEN YOU MADE THIS VIDEO. I HAD STAGE 3B BREAST CANCER IN 2010, AND MY TREATMENT CAUSED ME TO HAVE STAGE 4 METASTATIC MEDIASTINAL MELANOMA WITH NO SKIN INVOLVEMENT. YES, YOU READ CORRECTLY. I HAVE A SKIN CANCER WITH NEVER HAVING CANCER ON MY SKIN. ANYWAY, I WAS ACTUALLY ON A VERY HARD CHEMO, ENDING UP IN THE HOSPITAL MORE THAN OUT, WHEN YOU MADE THIS VIDEO. THEN TO FIND OUT THEY WERE TREATING ME FOR THE WRONG CANCER AND IT GREW THROUGHOUT MY BODY DURING THIS TIME. AND THEY SAID I ONLY HAD 3-6 MONTHS TO LIVE. BUT HERE I AM, A YEAR LATER AND WE FINALLY FOUND A TREATMENT THAT IS KEEPING IT FROM KILLING ME. (SORRY FOR BEING SO BLUNT) AND YES, I DO HAVE TO HAVE TREATMENT INFUSIONS EVERY OTHER WEEK, WITH HORRIBLE SIDE EFFECTS, FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. BUT THAT IS JUST IT. I NOW HAVE A "REST OF MY LIFE" THANK GOD! I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I TOTALLY KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BLAME YOURSELF FOR GETTING CANCER. I THOUGH MINE WAS BECAUSE WHEN I WAS IN 5TH GRADE I HAD TO WRITE A FICTION OR NON-FICTION NARRATIVE STORY ABOUT MYSELF. MINE WAS ABOUT ME BEING A HIGH SCHOOL TEENAGER WHO IS TOLD SHE HAD CANCER, AND HOW EVERYONE WAS THERE SUPPORTING ME. WEIRD THING IS THAT THIS WAS FAR FROM HOW MY CANCER STORY REALLY TOOK PLACE. ANYWAY, ITS HARD FOR AN ADULT TO COME TO GRIPS WITH HAVING CANCER. BUT IT MUST BE 10 TIMES HARDER FOR A CHILD OR TEEN. PRAYING YOU ARE DOING WELL NOW. I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.

i finished chemo 8 weeks ago... and the bit where you said, everyone keeps congratulating u but u dont feel like its over.... i feel exactly the same. i just cant be happy and am acting crazy towards everyone close and have pushed everyone away. hope this passes.

My grandma was diagnosed with terminal cancer five years ago. only told she would live for weeks. the tumors were everywhere you name it. at the time i was 7 and i didnt understand what he had and i didnt know she was going to die. my grandma was everything to me my inspiration i went to her if somethimg bad ever happend. then one day my parents told me what she had and this was our last time to see her. i walked in at 7 years old and said im going to cure you grandma i promise. she said sweety i want to tell you always live life to the fullest. i sat next her with my parents beside me then she told me she will always love me and will be my guardian in heaven and watch over me everyday. since this day my goal is to cure cancer even i die trying. i love you grandma. and ill see you soon.

Hi, just want to send prayers to you. My husbands two sisters both were diagnosed with Cancer, one had Brain Cancer, and the other had Lung Cancer. One passed away when she was 50, and the other was 55. I still can't believe there were two people in the same family (siblings) that got Cancer. My husband still has a hard time talking about it. I followed, I'm waiting on some results as well I was supposed to get them today but nope... when my doctor told me she said it so casually I still don't believe this is happening I've had alot of symptoms (mine is a brain tumor) no doctor ever found anything so I thought I was just getting older , my fertility doctor actually found it
