im surprised u dont eat leatherjacket. i grew up fishing westernport with my grandfather looking for whiting. we always got leatherjacket and found them great eating with big bones so less of a choking hazard - regards markc

it is a great area to fish. we troll there a lot as well and get plenty of salmon trout and snook. Great boat ramp as well.

Do you use burley while fishing for whiting? Could be worth having a second rod out with circle hooks especially when your landing double headers, Just a suggestion. Enjoy your videos mate

been past that salmon spot many times, always wanted to stop and have a fish there as it looked like a good spot, but im not the captain haha.

Thats a good haul of salmon trout. Do you find moon phases make much difference to your fishing generally?
