Kiara told JJ before "your luck will run out.." Just shows the sad reality of what would happen if someone willingly keeps testing deadly situations for some reward. Eventually someone might die, then it will hit hard later that they could've given up after El Dorado. Rest in peace JJ ✊ Best character, the Poguelandia flag would not be so iconic without you

Have a feeling he’ll be in a lot of flashback scenes next season or he’ll be a hallucination for one of the pogues , it was easy to tell jj was the main character of the season and something was gonna happen but to kill off the character with the saddest backstory and the guy everybody in the outer banks still thinks is a killer was a bad move, he had a lot more to give to the story I feel

Bro i cannot tell you how many times i watched this scene. I wanna cry so badly :(. Rudy's acing in this scene was top notch, chef's kiss because the way he said "I love you Kie" while a tear went down his face made me so emotional. I feel so bad for JJ because he was abused by his fake father all his life then got stabbed by his real father after finally finding his family with the pogues. IDk if y'all remember but in the hot tub scene i think in the 1st or 2nd season when they were asking him why he used the gold to buy a hot tub he said something like "I bought this for my friends. no not friends my family, i bought this for you guys". JJ calling the pogues his family was so heart wenching.

The way groff stabbed him and then twisted the knife to ensure that he wouldn’t survive just kills me😭💔😭🕊️
