I found most of components in my lab, so i bought a transformer, some high voltage capacitors and some heavy duty switches and spend 30 euro. I think all components cost must be less than 70 - 80 euro significantly cheaper from other diy projects and of course from commercial instruments. Of course this tester don't has the possibilities of commercial instruments but is perfect for the serious amateur (audiophiles, musicians, radio amateurs etc)

First of all you must learn not to be rude. Second, the soldering has been done with a constant temperature soldering station and high quality solder wire (mbo 43/21 made in France). Visually solderings may not be perfect, but technically and functionally they are excellent and this is target.

From ebay UK, seller "legreltd" from UK , 2 meters 2,25 euro plus shipment . Take care to buy "end glow" fiber optic , no side glow. Alternative solution is cutting the lens of 2mm Lighthouse type leds clear or red , see my video for 3075 loco.

Dear friend, Thank you for comment Initial design was to use 200va transformers, for this exists soft start circuits and extra space. I found these 100va transformers in very very cheap price due to order cancellation and bought them for test reasons. The final result was very good (peak leds rarely lights under very high sound levels) but in future i will replace them with 200va for this reason remains soft circuits.

Dear friend, its no so hard I used a universal box for amplifiers (42x35x9cm) from a local electronic parts store, about 30 euro. I painted with black semimatt acrilic spray the front and rear panel and for letter printing i used white transfer letters 5mm (letraset mecanorma). Finaly a semimatt (satin) protection varnish for metal applied.

As seen in video not exists as kit. I made this psb to combine muffsy phono stage and elliot p88 Line stage. These 2 (muffsy riaa & eliot P88 Line) exists separately as kits but the cost + shipping is high. For this reason i made my own pcb combining the 2 circuits and i bought all parts from my local market, so total cost was about 75 euro.

Dear friend please read carefully TDA7294 data sheet especially the section of current hadling. Of course if this amplifier drives small- medium size loudspeakers with typical hi-fi performance is not neccesary this PS and filter capacitors may reduced at half, but in case of large loundspeakers with realy bass performance this robust PS helps to clear crisp and not boommy bass performance.

Thank you for your comment In initial video was existed a short video at the end, where the amplifier plays music from a vinyl in Thorens TD160 MkII and a vacum tube pre amplifier, but restricted by YT due to copyright reasons and therefore i cut it.
