@@dascfpv2981 por poder se puede con cualquier marea, pero con marea baja puede quedar poco espacio. Con marea alta hay mucho más sitio, pero se pone más choppy. Es un sitio delicadillo para foil, por lo racheado del viento, los bancos de arena la corriente y el tráfico, pero también tiene momentos muy buenos con buen viento y espacio para todos. Mañana también habrá viento

Thanks, I do fall quite often !, If I don't try to do anything tricky I can ride without falling for a long time. But when trying things, when wind drops suddenly, the water is turbulent or hit some sea weed I will fall

@ I made my own bars without central hole, with a rotating ring. I have uploaded another short video showing this system. These bars are super light and sheet in and out without any friction at all. They use a short quick release and do not have a trim, so they have so much movement range that I can cover just with my arm movement the same range as a normal bar with trim. My usual Cloud kites do not use trim bars. And with the 12m Airush Ultra I don't need it either.

@ I have put it at max 44km/h in very flat water. But in average conditions the max speed of each session without pushing it is around 37-38km/h.

thanks. if you are into this style of unpowered foiling, as in carving, tacks and gybes, 360s, waves... you will love Clouds. Once you get used to them they feel like a different sports. Not good for jumping. I like Clouds in 8m or less (down to 3.7m). I also have the 10 and 13m which work well but carving with light winds is not that fun, so I now use a 12m Airush Ultra Team (One strut) just to cruise around in light wind days

This is the swivel I use: amzn.to/40x0jYx I put a counter ballast at the opposite end of the carbon fiber that holds the camera. It will show more clear when I make the video

@@yannetienne2963 yes, I use a Dyna bar (the original slider bar that most manufacturers copied and is out of business now) and modified it to my taste. I use a Dynema cover cover the main rope for durability, a redundant 2nd rope in case the main one fails, extra centered kite attachment for safety. Low friction ring. I make my own quick release kite attachments. They a are a simple pin and ring mechanism, similar to the harness release of a standard leash. The bar is also custom made

@@dbarry270 it's Laida beach in the river mouth of Mundaka. In the North coast of Spain. Landscape is beautiful. The spot can be tricky, with gusty winds and shallow sand dunes, But we have a good time in the winter with South winds.

Thanks, The spot is beautiful with sand dunes that change with tides. It can be tricky with very shallow spots for foiling, gusty winds coming from the mountains and strong currents. People love it or hate it for kitesurfing. I'm one of those who love it !. It is common to see a bunch of french people coming with good South wind forecast

Gracias por los comentarios. Esto es con la Cloud 4.8m.en Europa no se venden. Yo las pillo de 2a mano. Suelen salir bastantes en el grupo cloudriders de Facebook. Para este estilo de navegación son una gozada

el rango depende mucho del foil y del piloto, la 4,8 de este video va bien desde unos 17 a unos 25 nudos con un foil de 750cm2 y 80kg. Pero por encima de 20-22 nudos prefiero poner la 3,7m. Con estas cometas es mejor quedarse corto y generar potencia moviéndolas que ir pasado. Funcionan diferentes a las cometas normales

En Agosto suele ser viento flojo. Para foil pueden salir algunos días Laredo funciona con NE, pero es bastante aleatorio. Puede haber uno o dos días buenos y luego 10 días sin nada. Si te andas moviendo, otras playas de NE son Somo y Liencres.

Hoy hemos tenido unos 7-11 nudos. Con el foil hemos disfrutado. En verano estos días sí son frecuentes, pero más de 15 nudos ya es más difícil. La mejor temporada suele ser de Abril a Junio, el resto del año es bastante aleatorio
