the 787 is better than the a350 in my opinion

The CFM engines on the CEO were by far the quieter of the two. The IAEs were deafening inside the cabin. Also, I’ve had the opposite experience with infotainment. I recently have flown on United several times to give them another try as it’s been a while, and the infotainment was old and movie options were not good. My screen also didn’t work on the returning flight. I like AAs bring your own display system as that way you don’t have to worry about germs touching something many others have touched.

Ewr has an insanely busy traffic pattern you probably were being trailed by another jet. Approach probably gave your pilot a specific speed or greater on the approach for spacing!

Door closes Flight Attendants cross check, verify straps Good morning ladies and gentlemen and welcome aboard UA flight 763 with service to Orlando. This aircraft is under the command of command of Jeff Alston and first officer James Blackwell. Our flying time to Orlando is approximately 2 hours and 46 minutes. We would to introduce our flight attendants at this the. We have Jan and Susan in our first class cabin and Jody, Angela and Sheri in our main cabin. We are her to make sure you have a comfortable trip down to Orlando however our primary goal is your safety. With that in mind we that the remove the safety demonstration card in the seat pocket before you and follow along with us as we preform our safety demonstration. You are traveling aboard ac Boeing 737-900 series’s aircraft equipped with 8 emergency exits. There are two at the front of the aircraft one on each side. To fasten simply slip the tap into the buckle and tighten by pulling on the strap. Each seat is equipped with individual life vest which is located beneath your seat. Place the vest over your head, tighten by using the black strap only inflate the life vest as you exit the aircraft. You may also manually inflate the vest by blowing in plastic hose. Cabin pressure is controlled for your comfort however should it change radically in flight. The panel above your seat containing oxygen mad will deploy. Reach up grab the mask covering your mouth and nose, tighten by pulling on the straps and breath normally. If you are traveling with a small child or someone who may need assistance, assist yourself first they assist occupant. This aircraft is also equipped with isle path lighting follow the green light until you reach the red lights. The red lights indicate you have reach or near an emergency exit location. All laboratories are equipped with smoke detectors, tampering with or disabling these devices and prohibited by federal law. "Are you more of a fan of the Genx engine or the Rolls Royce Trent 1000?" Glad you asked. In a word, the GEnx. However, as seen in my channel's logo, the GE90-115b ranks #1. Nothing even comes close. My fav aircraft is the B777, but it must have the GE90-115b. Other 777s use the Trent 800, and they're lame (sound-wise) compared to the GE. My favorite pastime is to attach my DAC and headphone amp to my computer and watch aviation videos with good quality audio of the engine sounds. Favorite engine #2: Rolls Royce RB211. (Something tells me that you may know a little about them.) They may not have the same deep growls of the GE90-115b, but they stand alone in their characteristic buzzsaw sound profile. I especially love to watch them in action departing from John Wayne airport in California. Because of the morons that decided to move near the airport in the first place, noise abatement rules are in effect around the airport. Many times the pilots will do a static run up during take off and those RB 211s scream! YOUR VERY INTERESTING title for this video: Thought I was the only av geek who likes really obscure aspects of an aircraft. Apparently, and thankfully, I was wrong. I think the best hydraulic sounds are the flaps and slats actuators on the Airbus A380. They're magnificent, along with that aircraft's multi-segmented ailerons. Two other obscurities round out my list. I am fascinated by the flaperons on the 767, 777, etc. And topping the list of hydraulic audio oddities is the sound of the PTU (power transfer unit) 'barking' sound on the Airbus A320. The engine sounds different from the modern 757s. Is this because it is a low bypass turbofan, not the high bypass turbofans we see today?
