• One Touch Opening
• Automatic Jar Opener
• Deluxe Model with Improved Torque
• Electric Handsfree Easy Jar Opener
• Works on Almost All Jar Sizes
• As Seen on TV
• Battery operated, No Cord.
• Hands Free Jar Opening.
I purchased this for my Mom, she has trouble opening jars and recently hurt her right arm, and it is in a cast. For now, she can only use her left hand. How to Freeze Dry Squash and Zucchini for Beginners
I also found the Cosori an excellent dehydrator! I make my own yogurt, and use the Cosori for the incubation process. Without the trays, holds both 1 & 2 quart mason jars. I used to use the Nesco, but had to buy extra trays, and removed the bottom of the tray, leaving just the rings. Which took, I think, 4 trays to create a well large enough to old 1 quart jars. But worked very good! Nesco is also an excellent machine! Love your channel, Wayne. Both you and Anne do an excellent job in reviewing the products! If I can ask, how long does it take to dehydrate bacon? And do you cook it first? I’ve not ever thought of dehydrating bacon! But it sounds delish!
Thank you for the very nice comment. You are always so supportive and make us smile. I'm still working on figuring out the best way to do the bacon. I did not precook the bacon. I did 1 run at 165 degrees for 10 hours and blotted the grease off 2 times while it was running and again when finished. The second time, I put a sheet of paper towel under the bacon and did not blot the grease off. Same time and temperature. Both were very good but I will do more before deciding which way to do it. You're right it is delicious.
😊
Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
The chicken looked amazing! I'm sold, I must have this grill. Thanks :)
We really enjoy ours and the chicken was gone in no time. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
I enjoyed watching your video. Not sure why it appeared in my feed but I’m happy it did!
We are glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
Kinda wish your vids came out more often. It’s been 3 months since the last one. 11 months ago it looks like you were putting them out once a week. Thank you for the in-depth talk about how this contraption works. I saw it on another channel and ordered one. It came but there were no instructions or explanations what to do with it. I’ve been looking into what it can do (haven’t taken it out of the plastic covering yet), and plan to include it on my own channel once I get it up and running (where I review “stuff”), and your video explains things I’d have has to discover on my own, thank you! I’ll refer people to your channel when I review this item. The idea of using it over the sink is helpful! Though my johnny apple slicer looks different as it has a suction base, attaching to a cutting board wasn’t in the other channel. That channel does talk about soaking in ascorbic acid (or lemon juice) to keep the apple from browning. I’m getting excited about my channel, have lots of video already, just need to begin posting (kinda scary).
Thank you for the kind comment. We had planned to add new videos 2 to 4 times per month but elderly parents have started taking a lot of our time. Good luck with you new channel.
@cookingandstoring I know all about elderly parents, lost one a year ago, and the other one is driving me cRaZy. At least “chores” are split between several children and one lives a couple townhomes down from her. I cherish all the time I get.
Excellent
Thank you for the kind comment.
I loved it!!! Thank you for your time and effort.
@@btlnh2001 I’m so happy that you enjoyed it. It’s easy and healthy. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
Thanks sir. Honestly, I think you solved my vacuum issue but I’m more impressed by your video and audio quality.
Good luck with your vacuum issue. I hope it is fixed. These steps fixed our vacuum issue. Thank you for your kind words and for visiting.
Nutmeg or cinnamon.
@@janicewinston9194 I like to use cinnamon, but it’s just personal preference. I think a little nutmeg would also work. Thanks for watching!
Stay Fresh has no such issues. I own one.
I have noticed a MUCH reduced occurrence of vacuum problems with HR units. They all have problems of some sort. Thank you for visiting and we hope you have a great day.
Thanks, Wayne! Your tip with the pump hose--oiling, adjusting before final tightening, tightening with a little pliers help cured my vacuum issue! Lowered my stress level a whole lot. Thanks again!
Thank you for the kind comment. We hope you have a great day.
Great video, sir. People have to figure out their own problems with H.R. products. I have not had trouble with my FD, however, I bought a large one for my daughter and it did not work for 2 full years since H.Right did not choose to do right. H.R. finally shipped the unit back and fixed it. I lost all respect for the company and will never buy from or recommend them again. They do have competition now.
You are correct, they do have competition now. Maybe that has helped get them to improve quality, because I don't hear as many complaints as I did 2 years ago. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
looks divine, can't wait to make. Thank you
Thanks! Hope you enjoy!
I learned more from this video than the technician I paid $45 to help me change this battery. Thank you
You are very welcome. I have watched other videos about this and some of them offer some VERY bad advice. I hope you got your problem fixed. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
I will definitely try this recipe for your version of peach cobbler. I am testing several different ones to decide which one I like best. One thing I would suggest. Show your cooked cobbler up close and you should cut into it and serve up a portion.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my video and comment. Unfortunately once we have posted a video we can't add any additional images.
Looks yummy
Thank you 😋
Thank you for this video. It helped me be able to reinsert all the parts back into the storage compartments!!!
@@dappledaylight2628 You’re welcome! So glad you found it helpful.
Thanks, this looks really great recipe. Can you elaborate on the Lemon Line soda please as I live on the other side of the Pacific (Australia). I can get lemon lime in Carbonated water (no sugar) or I'm guessing I could regular lemonade (high sugar content) and add a little lemon and lime Juice if it's a sugary drink. Can you please adivse what the best substitute would be? Thanks again.
@@jumper123910 Thanks for visiting our channel! I think I would use the carbonated water and add sugar to sweeten it. You don’t need to add a great deal of the sweetened water, 6 ounces would be fine. You could also just leave it out, but they wouldn’t have any extra juice.
Hello, I found your recipe for peach cobbler, so glad I did. Very easy to make, and good ingredients. I wanted a recipe that didn't use a cake mix those are nice but wanted one like my Mom made! This is it for sure. I'm going to also try this with a couple other types of fruit. Thanks again so much, cobbler is almost done! 😊
@@nvacct7122 Thank you for your comment! I hope you enjoyed the cobbler.
I appreciate this video. I am hopeful this will resolve my issues.
We wish you the best. The drain valve was our problem. Thank you for visiting.
I have one for about a year now and I’m madly in love with it
That's great, we enjoy ours as well. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
My mtorrs never got past 1200 for 10 hrs. Harvest Right is absolutely zero help!! Ive only had my machine in house 3 weeks it took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Im past the return time! Im so frustrated because the manual is so unclear their videos are minimal at best. Im old and on a fixed income and this was a major purchase for us!! To have a machine that has functionality issues that requires me to pay $ 45 to be checked with a 3yr warranty is unacceptable. Im trying to figure this out and hope ive not got a lemon.
We are sorry to hear about your problems. The thing I would check first is the drain line and the valve on it. It seems to be the most common problem area. Good luck and please let us know how it goes.
this reminds me a little of the strawberry pie my dad always loved, only I'm sure it's easier. I would use real whipped cream rather than the "whipped chemicals" of coolwhip, though. thanks for the recipe
You are welcome. Thanks for visiting.
A common problem, with that clear hose as seen in this video, is the inside collapsing especially if the hose has gotten smashed in any way. They have a small, ridgid hose that is inserted into the large clear hose. That fixes that problem. Or an entire hose replacement.
We just replaced the hose. Thanks for visiting and have a great day.
I really like your video because you give someone's information thank you how to do it I love your demonstration it's really thorough really good be looking at your videos more
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching.
Thank you!! You two are the cutest. Loving it how creative you are. I got the machine and it’s set up. I was afraid to use it, watching your videos gave me confidence. Will do the test and freeze dry some old bread and then, begin my journey of emptying my freezer and filling out my mylar bags :)
You are so welcome! Thank you for your kind comment, and for taking the time to watch our videos!
Just curious. If you use "use chart" on your phone app. Wouldn't set everything up for you.
Hi, thank you for your comment. We will certainly check that out when life allows us some time to try. I will let you know what we find out.
Great video.
Thank you, I hope it helped you.
Thanks good recipe
You are very welcome. Thanks for visiting.
Thanks for the video, Wayne. My problems started after changing the oil. Have never had an issue with my large machine. I admit to tipping the pump when I was draining the oil due to the awkward location of my pump and absentmindedness. Took the demister off and cleaned it after watching another video. Before taking it off, I was at 1586mTorr and, after cleaning and drying, I hit bottom at 1528mTorr so not really any difference at all. My premium pump is also making a different noise... more of a whirring sound and it seems quieter to me. I'm pretty convinced that, whatever I've done, it started with me changing the oil. When I try to run a load, it goes into and 'extra dry time' mode and, as soon as it finishes, it goes straight into Vacuum Freezing and says it's running at over 2500mTorr. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere. I don't think it is a problem with the pump but I could be wrong. Did you test the drain valve for a vacuum leak, it is the most common problem area from what I have seen. If not the drain valve, I would loosen the hose that goes from the pump to the machine and reseat them like I demonstrated in the video. Good luck and thank you for visiting.
I would like to see a pork roast or chicken.
We will try the pork roast. Thanks for the suggestion and for visiting.
I am baking this cobbler as I am writing this post. Thank you for sharing!

Yes, this is a very popular summer time recipe. Thank you for your comment.
You got to have a good crust and dumplings in side
I love peach dumplings. I recently posted a peach dumpling recipe. Maybe you would enjoy it! Thanks for visiting our channel.
Replacing the drain valve has my 2 1/2 year old medium sized machine back up and freeze drying. Pulling below 400 mTorr. The old drain valve was getting hard to open/close and when it was off I could see rust inside. Great video, well done. Thank you!!
You're welcome. Glad I could help. Thank you for visiting .
Yum! Wayne’s got a good smile. So it’s one peach slice per roll? I imagine canned peaches would be messy to roll up. Wish there was a close up of what it looks like inside, but it appears easy enough I might just have to try this out…soon!
Yes, I like to put big ole pieces of peach in mine. I usually use half a peach and stretch the dough around it. I like the peaches most of all! If I have to use canned peaches I usually drain them on paper towels, before I try to roll them up. I hope you try and enjoy them! Thanks for your continued support!
❤
Hope you try and enjoy this recipe. Thanks for visiting our channel!
You have to understand how each fitting works, the hose fittings that go from the machine to the pump are compression fittins. The threads only pull the compression faces together, they need to mate smoothly or you can't get your vacuum. A little oil on the o ring and the mating surfaces might help, it won't "seal" the fitting but it will allow the fitting to smoothly mate for a better fit. The valve is a common pip fitting which needs teflon tape, I use good teflon takpe with a little pipe thread compund to make sure its tight. If your drain valve leaks make sure its not rusted, my sons rusted and we bought a new, better one.
Thank you for your comment and for visiting.
Thank you a million times over!!! My machine has not been pulling an adequate vacuum for over 2 months. I have spent countless hours researching, watching youtube videos, ripping apart my vacuum pump, taping everything imaginable, etc. I was at a loss and about to rip the side panels off my machine to take an internal look. But I thought, let's try youtube universe one more time before resorting to this last step. Thank goodness for your video!!! Turns out, the drain valve was not closing 100%. Since replacing, my mTorrs are now as low as 350! It's never been this low. Thanks Again!!!!
You are very welcome. The drain valve was also a constant problem for us as well. Good luck going forward and we wish you a great day.
Could this be done with apples as well…..maybe with some brown sugar and cinnamon?
Yes, just about any kind of fruit will work in this recipe, and be delicious. I've used strawberries, blueberries, and apple, with good results. Thank you for visiting our channel.
I love your videos. I have shared a few on Facebook and asked people to place share them for you and come to you tube and subscribe for you.
Thank you for the support, it means a great deal to us, and we truly appreciate it.
This almost reminds me of gravy in away
You're right! Some type of fat, flour and some type of liquid is how I make my gravy.
Do you have to add the herbs in the dry mix?
No, but it would change the flavor of your mix.
I’ll have to try it gluten free because I am suppose to have no gluten or dairy but sometimes you can’t avoid dairy in foods
If you do try the Gluten free version, could you please post a comment about it. It might be helpful to someone else. Thanks!
I love your channel. I shared your channel with family and friends.
Awesome! Thank you! We really appreciate the support.
Have you ever not used lemon juice and no vanilla but added a pinch of nutmeg when making your cobbler. It’s so good. If someone wants a little thicker topper on their cobbler they can use a 9x9 casserole dish. You just have to use a little less peaches. I make mine almost the same as you except I use a pinch of nutmeg n white peaches. I’ll have to try your recipes next. Thank you
Thanks for your suggestions, I'll keep them in mind when I make another cobbler.
That sounds delicious. I would probably make a similar recipe.
I love your mixing bowl
Thank you! 😊
Have you ever used fresh white peaches for a peach cobbler? Yummy
No, but that does sound delicious! In my area the white peaches are not as readily available as the other.
I've never heard of White peaches
